There are tons of different versions, and a lot of them do not work. Any idea which version works best?

Hi everyone, I've been trying to build a quantum portal (not a teleporter, the teleporter is the one with the four towers topped with glass), and i can't seem to cool my quantum computer block properly. I had a teleporter already that DID function, but I checked on it after I tried to build the teleporter and I found that THAT computer was insufficiently cooled as well. I suspect this has something to do with the Chisel mod, which I installed after I built the teleporter, but I cannot be sure. The reason I say this is because Chisel alters the ice block in that it adds many different variants of it. Does anyone know if this could be the problem? Are there any other ways of cooling a quantum computer block that could bypass the ice method? Is there a config file i can alter to fix this? Any help is appreciated.

Hi guys, does anyone know if chisel is compatible with the current version of tekkit? I know its included in other packs but it would be nice to pop it into my tekkit world so I could have more decorative blocks and such. If so, what version is compatible?

Hey everyone, Does anyone know what version of optifine will work with tekkit 1.2.9g? All the versions I keep using keep crashing.

Hello everyone, I was hoping someone could help me determine the source of a crash I've been having. The report is attached (I'm still learning how to read them myself). Whenever I launch this world, the game crashes right to the launcher; other worlds load fine. No text like "loading world" or "initializing" or whatever else is usually says pops up, its an immediate crash. I'm using an unaltered tekkitmain modpack.
