Hmm I remember it only did redstone torches, this was also in alpha if I remember correctly, way before adventure update lighting changes

I remember some old mod that made redstone torches actually release red light, is that kinda what you're talking about?

The easy solution would be to use the older version of the pack. The harder one would be to install following the directions on the page

I've been playing another modpack lately because as far as I can tell, Technic only updates once all mods are ready. I understand that EE3 is still going to take time and I don't know where RP2 is at, so I'm assuming we'll only be ready by 1.4?

Same with the first few months I had with my old laptops a few years ago, I didn't realise it was running via intel graphics rather than my nvidia haha

What the hell are you two on about. For one, did you even try to use the exe launcher, you know, the one that says WINDOWS. Secondly, did you know that Minecraft isn't programed in "WinRAR", it's programed in Java, so your best bet would be to open the .jar with Java, not WinRAR, who would have guessed!

Right click TechnicLauncher.exe then under "run with graphics etc" click your graphics card.
