  1. Well... first off, why do you have both installed, you only need the one that matches your OS. All that having both will do is make them screw with each other. Second, a better description of your problem would be nice, all this is telling me is it's broke. You fix it. Put things like: Operating System: Windows 7, XP, MacOS, whatever. Description of problem: What is it doing when you try to open it. Context of problem: What you were doing to try to make it work. Any Error messages Logs if they are available
  2. Solution may have been found. From KakerMix's thread. It is a bit of a workaround though. So you might need to set up a shortcut to the launcher instead of using to one provided.
  3. Wrong thread Neo, this isn't even giving an error. It just aborts without installing anything. As far as the railcraft thing goes, the other thread seems to have found a workaround.
  4. Ok, let's just get to it. When I open the file (Run as administrator or just double click) It opens, says Checking Launcher Version, and then shuts down without doing anything. I checked the task manager and it isn't showing up at all there, so as far as I can tell something isn't working. Does this need spout to run, or any other third party program, or is it supposed to be a standalone? The first time I ran it, it went to 100% then just shut down, I waited a bit, checked to see if it was even running anywhere, then tried again. Nothing. How odd. Let's see. Oh, Running on Windows, nothing too special about my installation, save that I use the minecraft profile manager. But the .minecraft I have in %appdata%/roaming is up to date. So I have no idea. Any help would be appreciated. Ok, Here is the useful Info. OS: Windows 7 Description is above. Same with context. No error messages, it just closes. No logs are available. Reach around is to run the .jar in the appdata/roaming/techniclauncher folder.
