The fuck happened when I was gone!? Honestly (for those other than GreenWolf) why does it matter what you were using if you got the wrong extension, change it.
-
!! You forgot to post ! Side note the fuck is up with this one? :sonia:

When I try to downgrade to 2.1.0 I get update failed
Jorcer replied to Hades1977's question in Technic Launcher
You need higher rep to ask a question on the questions site (answer questions to get rep). As for downgrading past 3.0.0a, pretty sure they stopped supporting that and took it down (not sure why you would want to go back that far but okay. Could you link me some of the topics asking about this? I have yet to see one. Downgrading to the more recent versions works perfectly fine for me (and I would assume most others). -
...You download the Linux/jar and then double click that (unless you used Internet Explorer, if you did you need to change the file extension so that it ends with .jar and not .zip)
-
...Not really, what I posted is exactly what you need to do. Is there something that you don't understand?

I am getting a “Technic Launcher has Stopped Working Error”! If your launcher is encountering this error, a solution is to download the .jar file from http://www.technicpack.net/download/ (pick the third from the left (Linux/Jar)). If you are using Internet Explorer you will also need to change the file extension (the ending of the file) to .jar instead of .zip. Once you've done that, all you need to do is double-click on the file to run the launcher.

Jorcer replied to M3TALIC SPYRO's question in Technic Launcher
Then post an error report (with more info than this one) OP: The only thing I can tell you from what you have provided is that you should be using the Apple distributed Java (Latest version is 6) Can you try to post more detailed info and possibly a log. -
This is in the wrong section. Try posting this in the Technic Bug section and hopefully someone can help you there.

Acer is not an Operating System and this is in the wrong section. You want the Tekkit bug boards.
-
You have added nothing to this thread and it has been dead for a long time. If you must, post your own bug report
-
I didn't need to The second was much better :)

... did I just listen to?

...Wow in the same thread I told someone else not to threadjack you came and threadjacked. The funny thing is if you had tried the fix I showed the OP, you could have save all of us time by not posting. As for the reason no-one would think about using the jar, I have posted this exact same solution on about 25 other topics you could have searched for 2 seconds to find the fix.

You keep trying to kill all of the penguins and now all of these other people are showing up! Sigh, I thought you were one of the smart ones! Like I said earlier, we attract tourists here with the penguins, then we leave and let them sort the issue out themselves. I can donate a few of my rabid virgins to the cause if there is an excess of unicorns though. Just come up to the North Pole and I can lend you some -

Ya that is the "Early Access Release" so I would stick with 7u7 for now.
-
I'm not sure hwere you got Java 8, the latest (official) Java release is Version 7 Update 7. Download Java from here http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp and nowhere else...

If you post your own I will be glad to help. The reason I say you should post your own is because to post one, you need to include some basic info that will help us troubleshoot your issue. What didn't work? You need Java 7 32bit and you download it from the Java website (IIRC it is Oracle) This is not your bug report so you are unlikely to get help here. If you search around the forums and read the stickys and that still doesn't help, post your own bug report.
