  1. You might be able to hold of few people, but with such internet connection there's no way you could hold big ammount of people. Get a proper host instead
  2. use residences or towny for house protection. check stickies in this forum also, get noitem for item blocking

  4. At first turn your launcher on, afterwards click "options" and you will see exact same thing as in screenshot, then just select "Always use development builds" click ok and you're good to go P.s. Do not stalk on my desktop, there's no porn there.

  6. Well then, I'm not sure what couses the problem. I havent encountered such yet, but try to run server with out mods and see if it works normaly, after that enable mods by 1 to see which one couses problems
  7. well, usualy when you type in console op menopoo it should op you, saying Opping menopoo and in-game you should see "You are now OP!" This is it, there are no other ways to set op to player. Unless you can stop your server and in server files find text file named ops.txt and add your name there If that doesn't help - you're doing something wrong
  8. I solved my problem already, It's for alchemical chest. As we know dupe is possible by placing and destroying it, I disabled both of those but made condenser place'able and craftable so that people could enjoy it
  9. well, I assume that togeher with pex you got modifyworld as well, are you sure you enabled permissions to craft for that specific group? personaly I would recommend to make modifyworld.* and in case you want to remove something check for commands/permissions in pex wiki and add them up with - in front, there are loads of explainations there

I came up with a problem where noitem.noplace.128 fails to listen to -noitem.noplcae.128.1 Tried to use x in front of item id's and still same result - or it bans both or it allows to place both. Then, I tried to do it via modifyworld, but when ever I type in usable item ID it fails to work. Tried it with regex and still the same, but when I type let's say -modifyworld.blocks.destroy.dirt it works, if I type -modifyworld.blocks.place.x128 it doesn't Heeelp!

  13. Thing is that I reinstalled my server, reinstalled all plugins tried to launch with only worldguard worldedit and residence plugins and no mather what the result is still the same I remade everything from scratch with out any result. It appears this won't go out easily

I do not have problems with setting flags, the thing with residence is that if after startup of sever I won't do /reload it ignores any kind of options in my config Let's say non-op can create residence with out any limits (thought they are set in config) and no mather what flags he has set - they don't work For example I created residence and default flag for everyone else is /res set destroy false but they can still destroy it. After reload - works like a charm But then, after that tekkit recipes arent loaded and it sucks. I even reinstalled my plugins, re-created configs and even re-installed server. Result is still exactly the same. It was working few days ago. Edit: Which version of residence plugin are you using and are you running tekkit 3.0.4 or 3.1.1
  15. So you want to say that there is no way to ban anchemical chest and make condenser placeable? All I want to achieve is to ban alchemical chest but make condenser place'able And my permissions fails to do that, how did you do it?

  17. So I'm having issues with residence plugin. The thing is that I can remove all config files and then create a residence - it works like a charm But if the is shut down and turned on afterwards the residence is still there but no flags work I have no idea what couses this but after /reload it works again. But I cannot reload becouse then none of tekkit recipes work. If anyone had such issue ever before please share your knowledge with me
  18. Em, still same problem. My permissions file had the same noitem.NoPlace.128 also I tried noitem.NoPlace.x128 But when I do that, it ignores that after it I have typed -noitem.NoPlace.128.1 How are you doing it so that you could palce condenser and couldn't place chest, becouse It's weirdly bugged for me

  20. This does not occur with any other tool or explosive which is weirdiest of all, but morning star won't destroy any blocks as long as it wont select stone. So, let' say ['''] is my house and <> is stone * would be morning star. It goes like this: ['''] <> * <<<<Before .......* <<<<After As long as there is no stone, it won't do any effect. The most weridiest part is that, RM hammer does exact same effect, but it won't nuke my residences.
  21. I had weird issue with this one. For the topic creator, once again - You mister are a genius! and I'm realy thankful for your help. But as I mentioned, there is one issue. I tested out this with residences plugin. It works perfectly, it destroys all blocks around residence if you tell your tool to do that, but if you aim at residence it says "you can't destroy this!" So, I tested it out with nearly all rm tools and even explosives, It was able to resist any type of explosives and tools except RM red morningstar. Usualy it wouldnt destroy wood or anything else, but if you would place stone and aim it so that you would destroy stone and residence - it destroys residence as well, so if you have any more ideas for this feel free to tell me solutions.
  22. well, comparingly to other mods EE provides way much more powerful set of tools than other ones and what to mention about they're secondary abilities to leave a hole inside a ground with 1 click (a huge hole) Comparinly to other tekkit items, it is not balanced well
  23. Glad to hear that! That's just wonderful :3 Also, about RM tools/rings Blackplague mentioned.. I think that secondary functions arent needed, just let's say they would have fast mining/digging etc. rate and that would be just enough to reach better balance. For rings.. I'm not even sure, those seem good enough for me

  25. Well, as I learned tekkit basics from duncan @ yogscast, which is by the way an excelent 'teacher'. So, thing is that most of his episodes are released on older version of tekkit where obviously mod versions were older as well. Thing with this new version is that, you can get loads of materials in just an hour or less after some mining. Why is that bad? becouse that makes players skip sooo many steps and get latest/best technology with minimal ammount of effort. Now, what's the difference between old and new version that ruined it all? In my opinion It is uranium and I even have a reasn for that (which is pretty much obvious) Let's say you would make diamond's cost 43k. Wouldnt that seem a bit too big? - it would. That is why it is 9k only. The thing I can not understand is... Why would someone make uranium, the ore that is fairly easy to find if you spend some time digging. Why would someone make it's EMC worth of 43k. I mean, that doesn't make any sense at all. Diamonds are more rare than uranium and they're EMC is way much smaller than uranium. Even though uranium isnt as rare as diamonds, with out advanced technology you cannot farm it extremely fast becouse it is only by 1 in place, which seems fair enough. Imagine a scenario where uranium is worth 3-4k EMC and tell me, wouldnt that fix major problem with EE redicleously easy item obtaining methods? Oh and, I think EE is great plugin, though that configuration I mentioned above would balance it up realy nicely.
