I was on the minecraft wiki, and it says that anvils damage an entity as much as it would falling from the height the anvil was dropped from without armor. Does this mean that we can just drop anvils on quantum players, or does armor absorb anvil dammage, and the without armor thing is just for damage calculation?

It doesn't work like that. The nukes have a fifteen second fuse, more than enough time to blow your way out with the armor's explosive abilities, lay down obsidian with the mercurial eye (ten blocks thick will probably absorb a nuke?), or escape with a red morning star (and you can bet that someone with gem armor will have that on their hotbar), or even equip quantum armor (again, most people with gem would have this.

I think the only thing that makes gem worth it is the lightning. I think I'll just go with the helmet and quantum for the rest. Also, this is still coming up in the comments on my video. They're claiming I retextured the forcefield blocks. It's surprising how immature adults can be. I mean really, why would I want to fool people on this forum. I don't care about what you think of me. I don't mean that in a bad way, I mean I just don't care one way or the other. I wish people would just accept that I experienced a bug and mistook it for a feature. Can we all get along here, because I don't feel like winning a forum war today.

The quantum is easy enough to get. I can make several sets in a day with my recycler and mass fabricator. Also, the gem does give you pseudo-invincibility, as nothing short of a super creeper or a nuclear blast will even scratch you. And, really, shooting lightning is just too cool. Nonetheless, if you want to look sexy, quantum is the way to go.

Pedestals can be turned on or off with redstone, but they're spotty at best in SMP.

Can deployers turn on a DM pedistal with archangels smite on? It should eventualy whittle down their charge.

You people are all much better at computers than I am.

That is rather elaborate to get into a base. And, also, computercraft passwords are pathetic, as anyone can acess the list of programs and run anything that looks like a password.

How did you get the lever to not open the door?

I tried ignoring it, but it seems that it regenerated part of my world, because I'm seeing raw chunk bounderies, with a mountain cut exactly in half, and other oddities.

It prepared the spawn area just fine, but when I use my old world, it says there was an error loading the railcraft saves because the data wasn't in GZIP format, and keeps printing that every few seconds. Can I just ignore this?

Thanks, will I have to replace the world file too?

I did a little more digging, and I changed out the plugins folder with a fresh one, and it didn't help. But when I changed out the world file for a new one, all was happy, except all the stuff I spent pretty much a solid week making would have been gone.

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to put this thread, but I don't really know my way around here yet. I've been running my server for a week or two now, and I;m just getting it ready for me and my friends to play on. Today I decided to install the easyspawn plugin, and whether that has anything to do with it or not, my computer acted like I hit the reset button on two separate occasions, ans then my server wouldn't start, and it gives me this message. That is an amazing idea.

Well, the idea would be you'd need to be to be about zombie attack distance to use it, and yes, exactly, they drain each other, and someone gets drained faster than the other. Hell, throw in a drain functionality to the gem armour, but make it MV, not HV drain. Also, the drained EU wouldn't go to other player, it would just go away. And also, you would be able to turn off the offensive abilities, just like the gem armour.

I think that the whole quantum suit thing would be much better if there was some sort of "kryptonite" (sorry, about the spelling if it's wrong, I'm not a super man fan, he's way too op (kinda like a quantum armoured player)) you could use on them, like the nano saber angainst nano armour. My sugestion is, that you have an upgraded, yes, upgraded version of the quantum suit, kind of like gem armour is to red matter armour. The helmet could have lasers in it, with all the modes of the mining laser, and one that shoots a continuous beam that damages entities but not blocks, the boots could have jet packs in it, and let you actualy fly, instead of super jump, the leggings could have a toggle function that completly removes the name plate from you, and when sneaking, makes you totaly invisible. But the chestplate is what balances all this out. It would have a function that would drain EU from a players quantum suit at a rate of 512 EUT. It could also have a second EU resovoir that can only be used to power hand held tools, not the deffensive abilities. This would certainly shake up the whole "is gem or quantum better" argument.

If you saw Sjin's Top Ten Tekkit Technological Terrors, where he had a bore advance on an "annoying player who lost his stuff and wants a pick" then you probably have an exagerated idea of how dangerous one is. Also, make sure not to use a diamond drill head, or you'll wreck the trap.
