mac verison of what?

I love mac, but all my gaming is on my PC... So I want that to work too, ya know what I mean? Anyway, Bump for help.

Easily the most frustrating bug i've encountered... Worse part is that it works on my Mac...

Problem is that if I do that i get an error about not having IC2 Advanced Machines when trying to join my favorite servers. Thank you for your continued advice, I'm really hoping to fix this problem.

Sir, I mean this in the nicest way. I'm not an idiot, but you need to be please read my post... I have Java7, Also this is the client, not the tekkit 2.1 server... I appreciate your effort though, sincerely.

Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit 2.1 Operating System: Win7 64-bit Version of Java: Java7 Description of Problem: Whenever my game loads Advanced Machines that have been cached, meaning that I didn't place them in the last time the game was on, it locks up and then after 5-10 seconds it flashes my screen like my graphics driver is reset. The game then is pitch black, I can hear sound, but I can't interact with anything, but my character stays logged in until I ctrl-alt-del the java process. I rolled my drivers back as well, no such luck for me. Only happens when my game trys to load ic2 advanced machines. Sad face.

(Everything up to date) Operating System: (??) 64 bit Version of Java: (??) 64 bit Description of Problem: I have the problem of when i try to log in and get all the mods downloaded (first time log in) it says download failed and wont let me log in at all. I dont have a pinpoint on the problem , but it says (3% download failed). I am downloading Tekkit mods onto my computer Error Messages: "Download Failed" Link to pastebin of log: (??) Is there Advanced Machines near you when you login?

This still happens, and i've confirmed it happens only when IC2 Advanced Machine are around, and only on my windows 7 64 bit box... My mac can load them just fine... Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Crash before i can start moving but after world starts to appear Can you remove all Advanced Machines in the area? Rotary Macerator / Centrifuge Extracotor / Induction Furnance... If you can, remove it and then try. I have issues when those items exist, sounds exactly like what you descrbied.

Through an incredibly painful process of trial and error, I found the cause. If there is IC2 Advanced Machines nearby, my client will lock up and then crash... This doesn't happen on my mac, just my PC...

I dont get this with any other games.. I also am able to play battlefield 3 on ultra for hours without issues so I dont think my gcard is close to overheating. That being said, Sad face.

Launcher/pack Version: Tekkit v 2.1 (Everything up to date) Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit Version of Java: v6 64-bit Description of Problem: I launch the game, click multiplayer, click the server I want to join. immediately upon joining, (I can see black screen with chat and my inventory) the computer locks up. about 5-10 seconds later flashes black, and throws me a warning about the graphics recovering. I was able to stop this temporarily by having an admin pull me to a different chunk, but then I left the server and came back to the same issue. Error Messages: N/A that I can tell. Also it might be a chunk related thing... But what in the chunk is doing it is unknown to me.

Good news and Bad News. God news: Spout doens't inheriently break the server! Bad news: Spout is basically worthless without spoutcraft, which despite all attempts does not work with Tekkit Server :(

Thanks for the quick reponse, and you know.. not making me suicidal However RPG Essentials complains about Spout dependencies... MAybe there is a Bukkit only version of it? EDIT: I installed the Bukkitplugin Spout.... Is this going to break tekkit?

So I was looking for a fun RPG mod, and ran into MCMMO and RPG Essentials, when looking at the two, I really fell in love with RPG Essentials, however I'm also in love with Tekkit. Is it possible to use RPG Essentials on a Tekkit server with any level of hackage? If not is there a a nice mod for Tekkit and or Tekkit Launcher that gives MCMMO a better UI as well as a store like RPG Essentials?
