When you enter the main page and click donate you are only allowed to donate to the makers of each mod. I think that should be enough for people to accept the pack. There are always going to be people that complain about it no matter what. Its just a shame that a modding community can become so wrapped up in the whole adfly theme with many mod makers and how important a few dollars are its ridiculous. In the time I was around the Morrowind and Oblivion modding community I rarely remember even seeing donation links and some were put up at the request of users. Its just a bummer than its caused issues within this particular community. In the end people who will use this pack will use it, those who wont will denounce it and cry while we enjoy our easy to use mod pack =D

If you'd find yourself playing the ps3 exclusives more than the 360 ones than I'd say grab the 360. I agree that Frets on Fire is not very well made so I have doubts for that game you linked. If you ever needed one of the xbox controllers for your pc you could always buy one separately as well. The guitars aren't to much and Razer sells an xbox 360 control specifically for pc with macro buttons. I personally have a ps2 and didn't have much interest in the newer titles for ps3, plus i prefer the 360 control to the playstation one.

Can't say I've played that particular game but I have played Frets on Fire, basically a PC version of those titles. The only issue I had with them was the timing being a bit off and some of the note blocks not making total sense in terms of the track. I ended up buying a 360 in order to mod it to extend its life due to the terrible internal design and got Rock Band Beatles with it. Played it to death. Really depends on whether your looking for the experience of the actual Rock band titles or if you just want the rhythm game experience. If the latter than the pc game might work for you just fine.

My biggest time sink was with the PC fortunately but I did have quite a few good memories with the PSX as well. Best memory from the PSX would be the Crash Bandicoot series seeing as I didn't own any nintendo systems, that was the next best platforming fun for me. On PC I played a lot of Age of Empires II growing up along with Morrowind once it came out. My 2 biggest titles that I wish had a bigger following were Battlezone and Starsiege, both came free with my parents PC. Hoping to god that these titles get another shot on gog because getting them to run on Windows 7 systems today is such a hassle.

Thanks for clearing it up for me then. I had been told it was in ways similar and not having much background in particle physics I wasn't entirely sure.

I think I'd fall into the engineer group. I don't go all out trying to get every bit of machinery I can but I use what is especially helpful to what I'm doing at the time. I also like working out ways to build auto harvesting contraptions and that sort. Certainly enjoy the Magic side of things though and wish there were some good options for food, farm, breeding, and general "life" related mods. I would love to be able to play as if advancing through the eras (Stone Age, Bronze Age leading to Industrial and Future Age).

Though an Element Zero doesn't exist as far as we know (something near it) this study is making its way towards such a discovery.
