  1. You didn't look at the Common Problems sticky, did you. Solution's in there.
  2. Delete the OpenAL DLLs from .techniclauncher/tekkit/natives/bin.
  3. Neat, literally every security software does that these days.
  4. Directly edit ModLoader.cfg from the config folder, then.
  5. I define backseat modding as passively-agressively pointing out that a post breaks a rule. Directing people to another topic isn't something I'd Hellen Kellen someone for.
  6. Yeah, AVG's been absolutely terrible for the past few years. It slows down systems horribly and rarely ever actually catches malware.
  7. http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php/topic,3034.msg18909.html#msg18909 See my post here for a solution.
  8. Empty your cache, and, failing that, open a Command Prompt, and type in "ipconfig /flushdns", without the quotes.
  9. I'm certain it's that. Disable EssentialsProtect and see if the explosives work.
  10. This topic has been moved to The Whale Box. [iurl]http://forums.technicpack.net/index.php?topic=3016.0[/iurl]
  11. I'd say upgrade your Java to Java 7, but I don't think the Apple-supplied JRE is up to 7 yet. In this case, you can get rid of the error by going to /config, open ModLoader.cfg in a text editor, and setting "mod_IC2AdvancedMachines" to off instead of on.
  12. Really? I'm fairly sure "You are missing the following mods:" is a client error spat out by ModLoaderMp Client. A server wouldn't have any reason to say the error.
  13. With the Launcher open, click Options. Click "Use Latest Build". Login, and it should install Tekkit 2.1 client.
  14. Ah, I see what's wrong. Your server's running 2.1, but your client is running Tekkit Client 2.0. To switch to Client 2.1, open the Launcher, click Options, tick "Use latest build", and you should switch over to 2.1.
  15. Can you actually tell us what mods it says are not installed? And just to be sure, you haven't modified ModLoader.cfg on your client, right?
  16. Delete technic-launcher.jar from .techniclauncher and see if that fixes it after a fresh re-download.
  17. Split this off from the Spacetoad topic because this was getting waaaay off topic. In any case we're treading on very shaky ground, so if anyone posts like an idiot you'll get a 3-day-probation courtesy of me!
  18. Blunderbuss shots.
  19. Re: Server crash on Ubuntu tekkit 2.1 If you don't mind disabling Power Converters, go to /config and open ModLoader.cfg. Look for the line "mod_PowerConverters=on" and replace on with off.
  20. Ooh, thanks! I've been looking for those for a while. Didn't think they were on Planet Minecraft.
  21. SMP's Revival also has support for Industrialcraft 2 textures, but I can't for the life of me find them.
  22. I haven't fooled with it so I don't know. Considering the title I don't think anyone but hardcore IC2 people will really miss it.
  23. Either disable Advanced Machines from config\ModLoader.cfg or install Java 7 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk-7u3-download-1501626.html .
  24. Are you sure you're launching Tekkit and not Technic SSP? Your launcher should look like this.
  25. http://dev.bukkit.org/media/files/577/203/Factions.jar Assuming you're running Tekkit 2.1, which runs on CB 1.1.
