Oh yeah. Upon actually reading the source ModpackBuild is for determining what version the modpack is. Nevermind me then!

I don't claim to know how the launcher works, but it probably runs org.spoutcraft.launcher.ModpackBuild.class from technic-launcher.jar after the update check's done, which probably combines minecraft.jar with modpack.jar, then it runs the combined files. As I said, I have nothing to do with the actual launcher, I just gave the .jar's innards a quick look with 7Zip.

Rename the [2]ComputerCraft folder in /mods to just ComputerCraft.

RecipieManager can help you disable some of the more cheaty stuff and allow other things. Crafting Table 2 bypasses that though, for what it's worth.

Either get a new GPU or find a way to cool down your graphics card/not put as much stress on it. Catalyst Control Center crashing may indicate bad drivers, as well. Might be worth downloading a fresh update and installing it.

Except Pudding Huxtable, the guy who makes the Yogbox, has little to no affiliation with the actual Yogscast outside of making the modpack for them. Prior to being called the Yogbox it was actually called "Now That's What I Call Minecraft", and it originated on the Something Awful forums. :v:

Are you sure you're using Sun/Oracle's JRE and not OpenJDK? I've never tried modded Minecraft on Linux but that might be the issue here.

I'd point you to the Github for the launcher, but some douchebag filed a fake DMCA request under the name of someone from MC Port Central. But I can assure you, it's safe. It's a fork of the Spoutcraft launcher and we steal absolutely no information.
