  1. Why would you unzip the mod files? They only work when zipped.
  2. Probably because we run the same software; XenForo.
  3. Regardless of whether or not your firewall's blocking it, ditch McAfee and get Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials.
  4. Go to /config/ModLoader.cfg and kill whatever mods you want from there.
  5. Survial Singleplayer. That's what Singleplayer has been referred to as for years now.
  6. Yogbox is only for SSP.
  7. Your internet connection is really really bad. People who aren't connecting locally are going to get bad lag no matter what. Consider renting a server.
  8. Yeah, then, booze barrels will stop when the chunk they're In is unloaded.
  9. You could simply put down a Teleport Tether or a World Anchor.
  10. Are you sure you're actually using the Tekkit server? Sounds like you're using vanilla Bukkit.
  11. Sengir threw a hissyfit and released a version of Forestry a while ago that broke your world if you were using the Technic Launcher. He's since removed it, but Forestry's still staying out.
  12. ModLoader doesn't auto assign IDs.
  13. Delete, delete, DELEEETE!

  14. No. Tekkit does not have Spout installed.
  15. Gee, we have so much to go on with your Java info.
  16. Beastnode is what I use for the server me and my friends play on; as long as you rename tekkit.jar to whatever their default Bukkit name is, it works perfectly. I suspect with your current host Multicraft might be the issue, but I can't be certain.
  17. Was that called for? Like, at all? I've been using Windows on my computers forever, sure, but there's no need to dump on someone's computer because they use a particular brand.
  18. Check and make absolutely sure you have 64-bit Java installed. 32-bit Java won't let you allocate more than 1.5 GB of RAM to any particular application. If Java's not installed in C:\Program Files\Java, and instead in Program Files (x86), you screwed up.
  19. Shortly after Forestry was removed from Technic, Sengir published a version without the malicious code. Forestry won't destroy your world if you manually install it.
  20. This is so incredibly wrong I don't even know where to start with you.
  21. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly sure Booster and Detector rails have been around longer than Railcraft. I doubt you can call the concept of an NPC village a "ripoff". It's like saying Dragon Quest 3 ripped off Final Fantasy 3's job system; they're both similar but they have differences. Millenaire only has a bit more functionality than NPC villages at the moment. Not to defend Mojang on this, of course. Goddamn, at least Jeb cooperated with the Pistons guy on the vanilla version of Pistons.
