  1. All IC2 energy storage boxes have multiple inputs, but only 1 output. The output is the side with the dot. I am not familiar with your texture pack, and cannot tell from your image if the wire is to the dot. I haven't actually used copper wire except in recipes, I normally use tin or glass fiber for minimal losses.
  2. Tekkit does not require Java 7 as far as I know. I have been running minecraft in openjdk-6 since 1.8 beta and tekkit 3.1.2 client recently in 64-bit Ubuntu 12.04. However, because the launcher backgrounds and returns to the shell, I have not been able to run the launcher from a desktop or unity launcher (which opens and immediately closes, and sounds like your problem). So I have to run my client launch script from a terminal window.
  3. What the OP is referring to as "Advanced Machines" are not, so that may be the misunderstanding. Extractor, macerator, and electric furnace are standard machines (32 EU/t max.). Without transformer upgrade(s) inserted in them, they need LV transformer from MFE, or MV and LV transformers from MFS.
  4. Skin servers have been sort of sporadic lately due to the popularity of the game. If you did everything right, you might or might not see your uploaded skin, depending upon how busy the servers are.
  5. OK a sprayer works for filling around cable. Now if IC2 would just fix their lights. Wall or ceiling lamps cannot be wired (battery only, for 1 night). Any lamp connected to any cable, in any position, ends up as a floor panel lamp, even if the cable is surrounded with foam and hardened first. Lamps other than floor panels only appear as wall or ceiling lights if placed on non-cable solid blocks.
  6. IC2 wiki says "As of 1.70, CF can cover & harden around a placed cable, creating a block that functions as a cable but looks like a CF wall. When a "CF-cable" block is destroyed, it drops the cable it was created with." The question is how do I engulf a cable with the foam so the cable does not show? The construction foam block ends up above, below, or to the side of IC2 cable blocks. I also tried making a foam block and then sticking the cable into it while still soft, but that did not work either. I am playing current tekkit version (3.1.2) SMP. Not sure what other mods the server has. /res, /warp, and dynmap (web map of players) all work, regular wooden chests can be locked with a sign (Deadbolt?), /rtp does not work.
  7. This is still a problem in 3.1.2 or whatever the current version is. Maybe something got lost in the translation, because red matter greaves appear to be hosiery (socks) instead of leggings (hosen?). They look like boots instead of pants, but other boots (like black matter boots) cover over them. Although, it is difficult to tell they are there when wearing all red matter armer unless you take your boots off and it still looks like you have them on.
