  1. isn't that where we are?!?!?!? *looks around wildly*
  2. make sure your modpack.jar is an actual jar file, and contains the files required to install forge. if your modpack.jar is not created correctly you will end with vanilla every time
  3. i just told you how to fix it, its your configs that are causing the crash. I reported it to you
  4. are you the platform? <3
  5. do you have redpower autoassign turned on? i have had this problem, go and shift your redpower ID values by 1000 or so just to clear them of the other mods you have installed, i am 99% sure this will solve your issue
  6. NO NO NO you are distributing the actual minecraft jar in your modpack this is not correct. modpack.jar contains Forge and other JAR MODS, NOT THE MINECRAFT JAR ITSELF, your walkthrough enables piracy and will only fuel the bad will towards these forums, please make a proper modpack.jar which only contains the FORGE FILES and OTHER JAR MODS. NOT MINECRAFT ITSELF
  7. please ensure that your modpack.jar is actually in jar/zip format and NOT RAR.
  8. was saying Good Luck to original poster xD i didnt see your followup sorry , its showing that link is dead currently
  9. everything looks correct now, modpack.jar is in proper format(visual inspection only, i cant actually test installation where i am at right now, but the zips are valid now! ) , have you updated your link in the platform URL ?
  10. your mod pack.jar is a rar file too make it a zip then rename to jar
  11. thats a rar file dude please use a zip file (from the file header for proof) Rar!^Z^G^@ϐs^@^@ first few bytes of the file header indicate this is RAR not ZIP
  12. i get a file that is 52MB, but i get errors everytime i try to extract it, are you 100% sure this file is not corrupted?(or did you make it as a rar then rename it to a zip?)
  13. i am getting errors when i try to unzip the file, try making your archive again, ensure its a zip ( i have downloaded it several times to be sure)
  14. if you open the folder you installed it to, did it actually extract the mods/coremods/config folders? if it did, maybe the mod pack.jar is the issue i can't download from the link, so i cant check your modpack.jar :(
  15. try using a zip file instead of .rar i am not 100% sure that those are supported(if they are i apologize)
  16. yes, this never worked, please buy minecraft!
  17. urls typically don't like spaces in them, replace any spaces in your URL with %20 and see how that works ie: https://dl.dropbox.com/s/xve37wv5uuzhdva/Science%20%26%20Magic.rar?m hope that helps ... also.. .rars ? dunno if thats supported or not, use .zip just to be safe
  18. r.-23.-4.mca is the file causing the problem, if you have issues with certain chunks causing errors using http://dinnerbone.com/minecraft/tools/coordinates/ you can easily look them up(only difference is you change the .mcr to .mca and there ya go :)
  19. think you need the http/https:// in front, just a guess tho
  20. don't worry about other mods electricity grids, if you are going for buildcraft compatible engines, stick with MJ, its convenient, and there are always awesome mods like powercrystals power converters that will do all the conversion stuff, why reinvent the wheel? gl with this it looks like it has potential far beyond the brewing i am familiar with currently!
