Started mine in 1.1 found 2 emeralds in the first 3 hours, maybe dig deeper? Lapis lazuli took me another 4 hours to find though.

Mostly needs direction, and probably a better initial home somewhere with grass and water. I'd rush solar panels + power tools as it saves on making picks all the time and burning through coal, but those are just my thoughts.

What Java version do you have and post a picture of the code in your batch file. Also who is your isp? If its on something like say a school sever at a college they restrict any kind of p2p connection as well as various other server restrictions and this is the exact same result I get when I try to start this up through a college connection. You still could be able to connect using the string "localhost"

Number of things from character profiles being erased from server data to recreation and back-up of the map or even just a corruption due to a mod take your pick your guess is probably as good as mine. Thought I read somewhere that voltz is still pretty much in beta stage so the block id's shuffle around a lot and maybe your inventory suddenly contained a bunch of things with a non-existent block id after a patch.
