  1. lol, I still need to find a location for my main base that I like and ill transition from my current temp base. Got two large solar arrays, 3 battery boxes a tinker table and a power tool with the highest battery upgrade and all resource gathering related modules. A decent start. Might want to update this as well http://voltzservers.com/server/128/view/voltz-chudgaming-com 32gb of ram, voltz version 1.1.3 :D

  3. I know optifine does that for all the new versions at least for me. Takes me about 30 seconds to generate a new single player map with 8GB of ram and an i7 and 4 year old g-card that still is base valued at 400 so I dunno maybe the new world generation is just slow. Also guessing this new host means a new map correct? So you guys are probably going to need some time to setup spawn and permissions and such.

  5. Sorry to double post but holy crap, and might I ask which service you went with? And also will the ip string be changing along with it?

As far as I know there is no formal change log but each mod tends to keep a change log in some sort of form otherwise the best ways to find things out is to play around in creative in single player take a look at the tinker table look around at the various mod pack items. Speaking of which there are some images and icons for the electric expansion pack that seem to be messed up in version 1.1.3 anyone else see that? The in game models are fine but the icons have disappeared or are distorted.
  7. Oh nice 1.1.3 was added to the new launcher, got any idea of the bugs that may exist in this one? Oh wow look at all the new power suit modules added and power tool toys!
  8. looks like your trying to connect to a 1.1.2 server with something else, manually adjust the mod pack (hint 1.1.2 is at the bottom of the list)
  9. Ah crap the jar stopped working for me so I downloaded the 1.1.0 server zip and copied and replaced the core mods, mods, and config and it lets me connect with the new launcher. Anyone have a better method? As this crashes voltz when I disconnect from the server, player data and location is fine though upon reconnecting. On a side note the new launcher has an option for voltz 1.1.2 if you scroll to the bottom
  10. Fusion would probably be the best option to power the hadron collider, recharge your power equipment and so on. There are wire mills, water pumps, assembly lines and other machines to power as well, there is no end game set in stone your end game is determined by you the player and is only limited to the extent of your imagination. For example there is a famous player who has come up with more and more unique fusion reactor setups generating more and more power, he is up to a 1.99 mega watt design so far. For me the power tool gets me everything I need to make whatever I desire, with axe upgrades, mining upgrades, shovel upgrades, it also provides a means of defense with the phased plasma and melee assist modules.

  13. Burn all your resources towards a power tool, mining upgrades and solar panels. It saves on trees for an already limited island space, main issue would be getting the leather. Tier 1: Coal Generator Enrichment Chamber (Platinum Dust needed for the panels) Battery Box Tier 2: Solar Panels Power Tool Tinker Table

It may allow faction leaders to protect their stuff and members could get their own area for storage which they could store personal tools or supplies. But I know permissions can be a pain to setup , so this is just my two cents.

  18. So I just kinda: 1. Build a stable farm (cows, wheat, pigs, sheep) 2. Get to mining and don't stop (mix coal and iron for steel) 3. Build initial electricity (Cables, Coal Generator, Battery box, Electric Furnace, Enrichment Chamber) 4. Build a solar panel or two 5. Build a power tool and advance the battery to MV along with with mining,axe,shovel upgrades and the diamond pick 6. Build whatever with my limitless power and near indefinite use tool nailed the process to #5 down to 1-2 hours alone depending on ore scarcity
  19. Did you delete the old mods? they don't go away when you simply move the folders over (older mods have older version numbers)
