While i may not use LWC on my server this is a very clean and very detailed config file for LWC for tekkit 3.1.2 I encourage anyone that uses LWC on their server to try out greeds config. -

I think i understand what your trying to say. You want other options to clean up all the crappy java leaks and such ex. "-XX:+CMSIncrementalPacing" try using a .bat file to launch tekkit but where as your trying to open the technic launcher instead have your .bat open the modpack.jar it can be found here %appdata%\.techniclauncher\tekkit\bin\modpack.jar so to sum up what i was saying because I know when i try to explain things I fail time and time again. the .bat file should work but open %appdata%\.techniclauncher\tekkit\bin\modpack.jar -
while I love Swatchdog's Ideals and functions however most times it does not rollback properly and when it does it does not roll back ic2 machines properly and you have to wrench them. one that works like Swatchdog but also logs chests you may or may not of heard of it CoreProtect Plugin Name: CoreProtect BukkitDev Link: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/coreprotect/ Description: CoreProtect is a fast, efficient, data logging and anti-griefing tool. Most of you already know what this plugin does but are afraid to use it because you hear that it doesnt get along with tekkit. Tekkit Compatibility: Until recently mcMMO and RP2 didnt get along so well. In the latest dev's of mcMMO these issues were fixed. I could spam you guys with plugins all day but these are my top pick If your intrested in more or need help setting some of these up PM me.

the tips are much apreciated. due to the vast amount of stuff that needs to be done I leave the town area mostly up to a few of my mods. Im sure you know what I mean lol. but I removed the swastika and ill pass on the info about the trees. As for CC we have to put rules on the screen in spawn but as for CC itself I have it pretty secure while im sure there are ways to bypass it I have removed the edit program which turns most griefers away from it. If a player wants to have a program installed it must be emailed to me and approved. The lag issues have a few diffrent things and only one of them really being related to the player traffic at all. The biggest lag issue we had of late was that pesky wireless redstone mod that was causing issues. Im also wondering how CC sensors performs as it likes to spam the console. but the one that relates to the players is java not wanting to let go of the memory an looping. Also do you of a way to get rid of the player join lag spike? ty for the input and ill probly be going to play.parsonage.co or server.parsonage.co idk something of the sorts. Anyways like I said always looking for input

as for cows or pigs thats just luck of the draw i guess I cant effect mc spawning rules lol i mean ya i can always place a spawner but i havent effected how they natualy spawn at all. as for the lag to further fight lag issues we are now trying an automatic restart system. if this works the server will now be automaticly restarting every 4 hours and down for approx 5 mins during restart

really? id like to know who. and did you try creating a ticket ingame? most players have a great experience in game and you usualy only see killing if both parties are participating. Spawn is a pvp area and their are protection plugins such as res. and like I said earlier if a player is harrassing you you can always create a ticket. not sure what it was. but as ive talked to you since im assuming its resolved. probly entitie lag being we ran a lagg clear earlier and got 4000

ok guys a bunch of you already know atm the server is down. we are clearing the corrupted entities that we have had for awhile now. srry that its taking so long the to backup the map. thats what we are waiting on an unfortuantly takes FOREVER. after we fix those pesky entity issues were updating the server to 3.1.2 so start updating ur clients now. hope to see you all soon

as far as downtime we are not the only delux server with downtime. actualy i can name another delux with the same issue as ours atm. as for a persistant touch of lag. that must be on your end as i frequently ask other players who have high expectations. and they cant tell the diffrence between our server and single player. as far as the backups the system was recently altered and as for the issues today with spawn it has to do with some irl stuff that a pissed off kid got my account login info an decided to attk the server. thus more downtime. and if you think it should reflect on how secure this server is I am likely pursuing civil action because of the latest events. I have been busy with irl events and work on the server has been slowed due to this and am srry you dont feel we meet your quality of server

ok lets change your batch file a bit try changing your batch to the following without quotes "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1536m -Xms1536m -jar Tekkit.jar nogui pause didnt notice before that your on a 32 bit system. unfortunately the max java 32bit will recognize is 1.5gb thus the 1536m if that doesnt work try "%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx1g -Xms1g -jar Tekkit.jar nogui cant guarentee the best performance but hey thats about the best your gonna get on 32 bit

figured it out. add --nojline to the end of your batch file ex. ""%ProgramFiles%\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -Xmx2G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar --nojline"
