Hardly practical, and not from any tale. As I said (wrote?), gaming costumes will probably not work, the perfect costume would be something everyone would recognize, but would be atleast a little bit clever/original. The main reason this is hard is because most people in my school are uncivilized barbarians (non-gamers) :/

So I've recently been informed that my schools party-thing is going to require everyone to dress up, and the theme is Story/Fairy tale. I would like to be atleast a little bit original, since everyone has gotten the bright idea to dress up as Gandalf or Jesus, but still maintain a reasonable budget. My biggest problem is the fact that if I come as anything remotely original, hardly anyone will get it, since the majority of my class seems to be culturally inept 9gag-and Facebook-is-the-whole-internet-ers. Gaming-costumes are probably too far-fetched too... So does anyone have an idea what to dress up as, walking the fine line between unoriginal and urecogniseable?

And don't forget to take it to Notch himself if you have to! He probably has a patent on awesome beards!

Slow RAM? Does it matter much (for gaming)? Also, what is HFC? I know that I atleast won't have to worry about buying a new CPU for awhile, a program called TurboV EVO let's me overclock it to ridiculous levels with minimal risk As for the price, I forgot to mention that everything here in Finland is expensive as hell, probably about 20% more on that price than whatever you would pay for it.

Could anyone of you computer wizards who understands graphic cards tell me if my PC was worth the 800€ I spent on it? And if the graphics card is "up to par" with the rest of the system? Well, that's still just pseudoscience. But reading this thread, I want to clear up two things: 1) The sun fuses together 2 particles into one, producing a "new" element, energy and usually a neutron or two. You can calculate the amount of energy released by using E=mc^2, putting m as the difference in weight between the first particles and the new one. 2) The awesome guys at the LHC have already created a fair amount of particles from energy, which means you CAN turn kinetic energy into particles. You just need a lot of it.

Yeah, went to their "The Final Frontier World Tour" in Helsinki with my old man, he's the one responsible for my taste in metal It was awesome, well worth the price and the back-breaking bus-hours, I just wish people could refrain from smoking during these events.
