  1. Do your username and password work in the vanilla launcher?
  2. No problem, glad it was an easy fix.
  3. Have you tried disabling McAfee while you run the Technic Launcher? Several different anti-virus programs have been known to cause this kind of problem, I am pretty sure that McAfee was one of them. You should only need to turn it off when you are starting a modpack for the first time or updating one.
  4. I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you fix this, good luck with it though. If you do find out how to fix it then I would like to hear about it if you don't mind. It is a very puzzling issue.
  5. Your GUI scale can change the number of pages that you see, there is a setting for that in the "options" menu. It might be under "video options" also, I can't remember exactly where it is. Do you see items that he does not?
  6. Sorry, I should have been more specific. The config file that I meant was CCTurtle.cfg but I really only suggested that because I am running out of ideas. The solution that works for everybody else does not work for you and the only one that had a different solution was very old. The guy was using Forge build 120 or so, the current build is in the six or seven-hundreds if I remember right. I didn't know that you had been able to run the server before, my impression from your first post was that this was the first time you had tried to run the server. The only other suggestion I have is to try and run the server from a different folder, one without the "(3)" in it. Maybe a few sectors are going bad on your hard drive or something. Make sure that you leave the current server folder alone when you test this, you want to write to different sections of your hard drive. It is a long shot though. You could also try to run CHKDSK if you want to. If none of that works then it seems that I will be unable to help you fix your problem, sorry.
  7. Ok, I did some research on your problem but didn't find much. Almost everybody that posted this problem was able to fix it by deleting the config. The one post that couldn't fix it this had problems with the config being saved with UTF-8 encoding and the BOM. This was like 9-10 months and many Forge versions ago however. You can see if this is the issue by opening the config in Notepad, click File->Save As, set "Save as type" to "All Files", change "Encoding" to "ANSI", and click save. This should overwrite the config. Would you mind posting the path to your server?
  8. I just tried to connect to your server but was unable to. The connection timed out each time. Your server is also not responding to pings but that may be intentional. This page has been cached by Google with your server's IP address by the way.
  9. Your CCTurtle.cfg file looks like mine except, you are using different block ID's. That shouldn't be a problem as long as the client's use the same ID's and no other mods use them. Are you using Tekkit Lite 0.6.5? Have you tried downloading a completely new copy of Tekkit Lite? I read through the log that you posted and now you have unknown characters in 3 new configs, something strange is happening.
  10. You can craft mod items and everything? I just setup Multicraft in a XP VM and was typing out all of the steps I took when I saw that you made a new post. Glad it finally works man, I just wish we knew what was causing the errors earlier but I guess it doesn't matter that much now. Have fun with your server
  11. That shouldn't be a problem, I was hoping that you would be able to delete the unknown character at the same time. I can't tell you what character is causing the problem since it seems to be a non-printing one. It is on the first line of the config according to the error message, it should be between the start of the file and the first "#".
  12. This error confuses me, you are trying to start Tekkit Classic right? Have you tried to update forge or something? My copy of tekkit.jar is from a new download when I first posted in this thread, I don't think that sending it to you will help at all. I am pretty sure that sending minecraft .jar files around isn't allowed, we can try that if you want but only if you get a moderator to tell me that it is ok. I need some more information to understand the last two logs you posted, what changes did you make before you started the server those times? I'm not sure that I will be able to help you fix this problem but I am willing to keep trying if you want. Not being able to reproduce your errors on my end is making this difficult.
  13. This is a known bug with ComputerCraft version 1.5, it is fixed in later versions.
  14. There is definitely a character on line one in your CCTurtle.cfg file that the server doesn't know what to do with. Try removing the comments from the config (any line that starts with "#").
  15. So I looked at your log again, the server is able to read the config but not write to it. I get the same error messages when I mark the mod_CCTurtle.cfg as "read-only" on my Windows 7 machine. The following line appears several times in the log: Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /home/minecraft/multicraft/servers/server138/config/mod_CCTurtle.cfg (Keine Berechtigung) Google Translate tells me that "Keine Berechtigung" is German for "No Authority", which makes it look like a permissions issue. This is very strange since you said you changed all the permissions to 777. You might want to check the permissions on the mod_CCTurtle.cfg file. I also learned that the server goes through the config files alphabetically, I set the mod_CCTurtle.cfg file to "read-only" as well as some that would be processed after it but the server stops on the first error. You should be able to start your server if you delete the ComputerCraft mod, assuming you don't mind playing without it. You could also try the following: 1. Delete mod_CCTurtle.cfg 2. Start server (there will be a block ID conflict but that is expected) 3. Stop the server 4. Open the newly generated mod_CCTurtle.cfg 5. Replace "turtleBlockID=209" with "turtleBlockID=216" 6. Add "checksum=5t" above the line you just edited. 7. Start server
  16. Turtles need fuel to move. There is an option in CCTurtle.config that lets you disable that requirement.
  17. Could post your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log file instead? Also, I like this part of your PATH variable: "C:\Users\screaming kylenoob\Desktop\fuck". What the heck is that part about?
  18. There is an unknown character in your CCTurtle.cfg file, you can try and delete the character or get a new copy of the config from the server zip.
  19. Are you sure that you are using the latest version of the launcher? The current one uses the .technic folder rather than .techniclauncher.
  20. So, you've confirmed that the files are on the server, maybe there is a permissions issue? I noticed that it cannot find or write the file "mod_CCTurtle.cfg". Maybe you should try to configure the server on your local machine then send those files once the server works on the local machine. I tried to use multicraft just now but it just fucks up my server. I must have done something wrong when I set it up. It spawns millions of short-lived command prompts running a php command until the server dies.
  21. I found the download but I am not going to tell you where it is since you're yelling at us.
  22. Use the edit button next time man, you'll get in trouble for posting multiple times like that. Here is the modlist for Tekkit Lite if you want that.
  23. It would be a good idea to read the text below the subforum headings, they give you an idea of what kind of content should be in that section. Go back to the top of the forum and look farther down the page. You want the subforum for launcher problems.
  24. The first two are from someone using a Power Tool with a Blink Drive attachment from the Modular Powersuits mod. I think it is debugging information that the modder left on by mistake. The last two are from the Compact Solars mod. It looks like it tried to remove a HV solar panel but it had already been removed. I see similar messages on my server but they don't seem to be causing any issues.
  25. Did something go wrong when you transferred the files with FTP the first time? Do you have a log from when the server doesn't start? I am pretty sure that it isn't making the redpower and buildcraft folders because the mods aren't getting loaded.
