  1. Are you still getting the same error? I have never tried to setup PermissionsEX or Groupmanager so I may not be able to help you.
  2. Alrighty, hope that is the solution to your problem.
  3. First off, you are allowed to post in the BUG board. The BUG boards just have a slightly different way to make a post. Look between the stickies and the top of the page and you will see it. Secondly, logs are almost always helpful when you have a problem. This thread will tell you where they are. Finally, you might be able to fix your world by using MCEdit to delete the coke oven. Make a backup before attempting anything!
  4. The owner of the server would have to do this.
  5. Maybe something in your inventory on that server is causing a problem? You may want to try renaming your <username>.dat to <username>.bak. It is located in <serverDirectory>\<worldName>\players. If you can login after this, then it was something in your inventory that was causing the problem.
  6. Builders are not implemented in this version of Buildcraft, that is why you are getting a "NOT IMPLEMENTED" error. Someone else had this problem so I was looking at Buildcraft's code. A builder will search for blocks in its inventory but instead of code for building something, there is only code that throws an exception and crashes the game. You shouldn't use builders in this version. Spychicken2012, you have a different error and I think that it was rude of you to try and hijack this thread.
  7. Now I am confused as to which one you are using, I did find some stuff about PermissionsEX so I'll go with that. Here is a link to a permissions file that should be setup correctly (I am not the one that made it). I think that you are missing an important line in your permissions file. Also, correct spacing is vital in these files apparently. - modifyworld.* This gives you blocks.place, blocks.destroy, and blocks.interact permissions. I think that this is what you are missing. I have never used PermissionsEX so this is what I learned from a few minutes of searching and their wiki If this still doesn't work, I will try to help you further but I cannot guarantee anything.
  8. I have no idea when the next update for EE3 will be. You could look at the mod thread or the mod author is on twitter (@Pahimar). I am quite excited to see what he does with EE3, we are playing with a very early build of it.
  9. I guess that they are not done working on the night vision goggles yet. There are several items in Tekkit Lite that do not have recipes currently. The Philosopher's stone from EE3 doesn't have a recipe either. You can probably spawn the night vision goggles in if you want but I don't know if they will cause errors or not. The builders in Buildcraft don't work at the moment either, you get a "not implemented" error when you try and use them. These mods are still being actively developed so these problems should be fixed in future updates.
  10. Philosopher's stone doesn't seem to have a recipe (so you have to spawn it) and transmutation table/tablets do not exist in this version of EE3. The version of EE3 in Tekkit Lite is a pre-release and not finished. I would use caution with any EE3 items at this time.
  11. I get that it only happens when he starts Tekkit Lite but I still don't have any information that I can use to try and figure out why. This is what error messages and logs are for. This page, for example, has links to about 540 different STOP codes and their meaning. Your friend is probably seeing one of these but I have no way of knowing. There are people here, myself included, that are willing to try and help people fix their problems but that is impossible unless the people with the problems give us enough information. You only see the Blue Screen of Death when something has gone wrong and is serious enough that Windows cannot continue running. Maybe there is a problem with his video drivers or something but I cannot give you even a semi accurate guess with the information you have given me.
  12. Like moxum said, the extractor can only take low voltage (32 EU) and you gave it medium voltage (128 EU) which results in explosions. You might want to read this page for some information about the energy system in IC2, the table under the "Packet Size" heading would be good to look at. Here is the wiki page for the MFE, the most important part is the max input which is listed on the right. At the bottom of the page are links to the rest of the machines and items that are in IC2, just click the "show" buttons.
  13. You can't know everything, glad it was an easy fix.
  14. The only information you gave is that he gets a blue screen when he tries to start Tekkit Lite, that is not enough to help your friend. The "Blue Screen of Death" gives you a code that tells you what the problem is. This code is important.
  15. It probably will be, we don't need to wait for Bukkit ports of the mods anymore so that will help.

    builder bug

Builders are apparently broken. You could probably use MCEdit to remove the builder and play on your world again.
  17. Well, since I know nothing of your setup all I can do is guess. The only reason that I can come up with for them suddenly not working is that they cannot see the sun. They have a clear shot to the sky right?
  18. Are you talking about this thread or this one? You aren't even the person with the problem in the first thread, your friend is. He should be posting if he has a problem. You didn't give enough information either. If it is a "blue screen of death" then the STOP code would be useful. This forum may not be a good place for help with that issue. About the second one, Builders are apparently broken. You could probably use MCEdit to remove the builder and play on your world again. I'll post this last bit in your second thread in case others need it.
  19. It is from IC2 but it doesn't seem to have a recipe. I was looking at the IC2 code and there is no recipe entry that I can find.
  20. Did you turn on "Magnet Mode" in NEI?
  21. It's not night time is it?
  22. There seems to be plenty of information out there. Have you read this thread? Or you could use JD-GUI to de-compile the mod, modify what you want, then recompile the mod with MCP.
  23. There is not one that I know of. I just used the /version command each time.
  24. I think I understand why mod developers don't want people to modify their mods but I don't understand why some of them have a problem with their mod being distributed in modpacks. I know that I wouldn't like it if I made a mod and someone used my work in their own mod. I don't understand why some people are so against modpacks or hung up on needing permissions to distribute the mod in a pack. Before I found out about the Technic pack, my friends and I only played with Industrial Craft. For some reason, I was the only one that could install mods without messing something up every time. For some strange reason that I never discovered, I could not install the mods on my copy of Minecraft and then just send the files to my friends (we all own copies, this was just to save them the installation steps). When I tried this, they would crash with various errors. This meant that I had to repeat the installation procedure with each person, some were located out of state so I had to walk them through it. Since it was such a hassle to play with mods, we only played with Industrial Craft or Buildcraft. I didn't even bother looking for new mods since I would have to install each mod about 6 times. Then I found out about the Technic pack. It was wonderful, someone had done all of the work for me! All I had to do was make sure everyone downloaded the installer (this was before the launcher) and ran it with the same boxes selected. Suddenly it was stupid easy to play modded Minecraft with my friends. Without the Technic pack, I would never have played with mods like: EE2, Balkon's Weapon mod, or Redpower 2. I would have tired of this game long ago and stopped playing. So, yes you can just install the mods yourself and it is fairly easy to do so, but I don't see why some mod developers think that you should do it this way. It is enough of an inconvenience for me personally that I would rather stop playing Minecraft than install the mods myself.
  25. Are you using a permissions plugin? I think you are but cannot help more until you answer my question. Please don't just say "yes" though, specify the plugin.
