  1. You should have posted this in the Tekkit BUG board. We need to know what error messages you are getting, they will be in your server.log file in your server folder. Upload the log to a site like pastebin and give us a link to it. We also need to know what operating system you are running as well as what version of Java you have.
  2. Katrijn hasn't logged onto the forums since the end of August and only posted about this problem, so I don't think that you will be able to get a hold of them. CrossFire is an AMD technology for linking several video cards together. I have never used CrossFire and it has been several years since I had an ATI video card but I think that Catalyst Control Center (CCC) should have an option for turning CrossFire off. This setting will probably have no effect unless your have two or more video cards in your computer but it shouldn't hurt to try anyway.
  3. Why do you expect us to help when you put so little effort into your post? Just saying "It no worky!" just makes everybody angry with you. If you want any help we need to know what the actual error was man. You should search the forums first to see if someone else had the same problem as you. If you can't find a solution posted already then fill out a bug report. You might want to read this post too, the mods get mad when you don't
  4. That is unfortunate. I did some more searching and the only other solution that I found was to reinstall. If you are willing to try reinstalling everything then be sure to make a backup first. To make a backup, just copy your .techniclauncher folder to somewhere else (it is located in your %APPDATA% folder). Things to try reinstalling: Java Technic pack and launcher LWJGL Be sure to remove each item before you reinstall it. LWJGL is located inside the .techniclauncher folder and is downloaded automatically with the modpacks. Only try updating that AFTER you have re-downloaded the launcher and Technic/Tekkit. I am afraid that I will be of no further use to you with this issue.
  5. So, I saw two errors in your log. 1. org.lwjgl.LWJGLException: Pixel format not accelerated 2. java.lang.RuntimeException: sidedDelegate null when attempting to getMinecraftLogger I did some searching on the first one and updating the driver for your video card seems to be the solution that works for most people. I have no idea what to do about the second one however, have you done anything special to your Tekkit install (like adding more mods)?
  6. There are two possible fixes in the Common Problems and Solutions thread, have you tried those yet? You should have a log located in %APPDATA%\.techniclauncher\logs and it would be really helpful if you posted a link to the file launcher_0.log Upload it to Pastebin.com, edit your post, and give us a link to it.
  7. It looks like something is going wrong with OpenAL from looking at that log. I would probably start by updating your Java install, you are three versions behind. Java 7 Update 7 is current as of 9-4-2012. You might also try backing your worlds/saves up, removing, and reinstalling the pack.
  8. Just telling us that you have a problem doesn't give us the information to fix your problem. You need to post more information if you want any help.
  9. This error happens because the "Nether Ores" mod requires Java 7 but the server started with Java 6 I believe. You can try several things. You can try removing the mod, uninstalling Java 6, or explicitly starting Java 7 in your batch file.
  10. java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 253 is already occupied by TrainMod.Blocks.BlockDistil@26454ade when adding mffs.BlockMachine@f364873 Looks like you have a block-id conflict. You'll need to change the Block ID on one of those two blocks to something that isn't being used.
  11. That is a really strange problem, I do not know how to fix your issue but I might have a way for you to find out where it is storing the files. Download a program called "Handle" from here, it is a command line tool. You have to run it from an elevated command prompt (right-click, run as administrator) and you have to navigate to the folder that you extract Handle to in the command prompt. Then type the following: handle > out.txt Open the new file in Notepad or similar and search for Java. I got the following: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ <Non-existant Process> pid: 84768 BlackBox\Kyle C: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing 10: File (RW-) C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.7601.17514_none_fa396087175ac9ac 60: File (R-D) C:\Users\Kyle\AppData\Local\Temp\hsperfdata_Kyle\84768 68: Section \Sessions\1\BaseNamedObjects\hsperfdata_Kyle_84768 EC: File (RW-) C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\rt.jar 1F4: File (RW-) C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\ext\dns_sd.jar 1F8: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\Tekkit.jar 200: File (R-D) C:\Windows\System32\en-US\KernelBase.dll.mui 220: File (RW-) C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft.vc90.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.30729.6161_none_08e61857a83bc251 274: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\server.log.lck 278: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\server.log 27C: File (RW-) C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\ext\localedata.jar 280: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\ForgeModLoader-0.log.lck 284: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\ForgeModLoader-0.log 2A0: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_the_end\DIM1\region\r.0.0.mca 2A4: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_nether\DIM-1\region\r.-1.-1.mca 30C: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_the_end\DIM1\region\r.0.-1.mca 318: File (RW-) C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\lib\jsse.jar 340: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_the_end\DIM1\region\r.-1.-1.mca 344: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_the_end\DIM1\region\r.-1.0.mca 3A4: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world\region\r.0.0.mca 41C: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world\region\r.-1.0.mca 440: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_nether\DIM-1\region\r.-1.0.mca 444: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_nether\DIM-1\region\r.0.-1.mca 448: File (RW-) S:\MineCraft modding\Technic Pack\testing\world_nether\DIM-1\region\r.0.0.mca ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This shows where the files are, which should show on your system too since you can log into the server. I don't get a GUI when I start the server with the Jar file either, so I think that is normal. You can kill it with Task Manager though, look for "Java" if you start it with the batch file and "Javaw" if you start it with the Jar file. Hopefully someone else comes by with the answer but let me know if this is of any use to you.
  12. I can have a status?

  13. The crafting table 3 has been removed, it doesn't work with IC2. Are you talking about the farm from the Forestry mod? That mod is no longer distributed in Tekkit. I didn't see any errors in your log.
  14. Try downloading it again. Maybe it got corrupted while you were downloading it. You are also supposed to attach your logfile.
  15. You could have just added it to your server in about the same time it took you to post here. I think I remember reading that they weren't distributing plugins with Tekkit anymore, I might be wrong though.
  16. I'm glad you were able to at least get something close to what you want. Sorry that I forget to mention that the quickbench plugin goes into the plugin folder.
  17. I'm sorry, I forgot that my Tekkit server is still running an older version and that is what I based my previous post off of. I downloaded a new copy today (8-17-2012) and looked at that instead. On that page I linked, it has a note next to the B1.8 version of Crafting Table 3 that states "Not compatible with IC2 v1.97 (works with 1.95b)". IC2 v.197 is the version that is in the current Tekkit pack so Crafting Table 3 will not work with it. You could try changing to an older version of IC2, like 1.95b, but I do not know if that will cause problems more problems or not. You could use a plugin called QuickBench, I haven't tried it but it should do the same thing and is completely server-side. Make sure you download the correct version, the latest version of QuickBench is for a newer version of Bukkit than the one Tekkit is currently using (1.2.5-R4.1). There is one other possible solution that I can think of, you could use an older version of Tekkit. My Tekkit server is still running version 3.0.4 and Crafting Table 3 appears to be working just fine. I haven't tried to set permissions for it or used it a whole lot but from my limited testing just now it seems to work. Assuming that the plugin works as stated, that is probably your best bet.
  18. The JDK includes the JRE so that will work. If you have a 64 bit OS, you haven't said if you do or don't, then you do want to download the 64 bit version.
  19. Have you guys tried disabling your antivirus program? They can cause problems with the launcher when it is downloading and installing. I have read that AVG in particular can cause problems when it isn't even running. Also, make sure that you are using the current version of the launcher. The current version is 1.0.1.3 as of 8-16-2012
  20. Is it still happening? The site is working fine for me, not that it helps you. It is hopefully just a temporary issue for you.
  21. So, I noticed two things. 1. You're using an old version of the launcher. 2. You're using Java 6 I would download a new copy of the launcher from here, then install Java 7 from here. You may need to remove Java 6 from your computer too.
  22. Are you using the version from the Minecraft forum? You need to use the Bukkit port on this page. Use the GitHub link.
  23. It just changes all of the air blocks? I would think that it would give you a block ID conflict error.
  24. You have a block ID conflict. You are trying to start Tekkit right? Reinstalling is your best bet. You could change the block IDs manually but they need to match the IDs that the server is using. Be sure to backup any worlds or anything that you are not willing to lose before reinstalling. EDIT: I didn't read your log correctly, Torezu has the right information below.
  25. Only install the 64 bit version of Java if your Operating System (hereafter referred to as OS), Windows 7 in your case, is a 64 bit version. Go here to download a new copy of Java. There is also a link to it on the launcher's download page. In my last post, I gave you a link to a site that tells you how to find the OS version (the same link from the common problems thread). You want to reinstall the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). If you find out that you have a 32 bit OS then download the "Windows x86" version (offline or inline, doesn't matter). If you find out that you have a 64 bit OS then download the "Windows x64" version. You can also find the answer to these and many other problems much faster with a simple search on a site like Google.
