OH MY GOD, YOU'RE BACK!!! Today is officially the best day ever.

So they just released the 2.0 test version of Voltz, and I'm thinking about throwing up a test server alongside Big Dig to try either that or the new Tekkit. Any preferences? The new version of Voltz includes MFR, Galacticraft, MineChem, and a few other new ones as well as well as all of the old UE mods.

I've been getting sick of the issues myself, I mean we've had more major issues in the last 2 months with Big Dig than in the whole time we were on Tekkit Classic. I'm honestly tempted to switch over to the new Tekkit since it seems to he at least a little more stable. I don't really want to just up and switch mod packs again, but at the same time, Big Dig is now well overdue for an update.

So I've been extremely busy myself over the last few days, but I did find some time to sit down and take a look at the server. It looks like something went wrong with the static IP (which would PROBABLY have something to do with my whole area losing power/ internet for a little over 24 hours 2 days ago...), so the IP address changed. The new one is 173.75.0.25 (the server port should still be 25515).

I'm gonna be working overtime this weekend, so I won't be able to do much either. Tar/Gar/Mil, you guys are the first responders this weekend.

I sent you a message rejecting your application after both of the times you applied, so I don't think I'm really leaving you hanging here (unless you didn't understand the blatant sarcasm in my last post). I mean you're welcome to apply a third time, but I have to question someone who "slightly exaggerates" so badly on such an unimportant question...

Yes, I'm sure you just happened to have a disassembled ME system in your friend's inventory with discs of the exact same size and content of the stolen ones. And I'm SURE it wasn't actually your friend (and if it REALLY wasn't, then he's a dumbass for letting someone he can't trust have access to his account). You're not "not getting back on for the foreseeable future", you're not getting back on, period.

Your friend had ME storage units in his inventory matching the size and contents of the ones that were stolen as well as missing ME network components matching the stolen ones. I'm holding you equally accountable since you were the one who submitted his application. If you don't think that's fair, choose your friends more wisely in the future.

Server is back up, if you need items replaced or anything, feel free to send me a PM on the forums or leave a sign at my house in game or at the spawn. Also, DO NOT use any linking books you have set up right now, they will cause an instant crash clientside. Also, if you had waypoints to mark anything and you need them to find your home/ etc, they can be found under XXX\AppData\Roaming\.technic\bigdig\mods\rei_minimap. Me or one of the other admins/ mods will be happy to teleport you if we are on.

I know Ran was on at one point, he had a little thing set up on the hill by my base Also, as a progress update, I have the overworld working currently, but it looks like we're gonna lose the stuff in the Mystcraft dimensions. The nether looks fine, and I'm gonna check the moon right now. Inventories are gonna have to be cleared because it looks like I'll have to clear the player data to make sure people accidentally blow up the server by trying to spawn in worlds that don't exist anymore. Obviously we'll be more than happy to replace lost inventory items, although it does look like everything else is intact as far as chests/ ME systems go.

I can tell you without even looking that if the power went out while your server was running, there's a 99% chance the world is now corrupted.

No, Optifine is clientside, it wouldn't be doing this.

I'm aware of that, I'm testing different backups to see if I can find where the problem is. Also, how big is your AE autocrafter? That might have something to do with it, it can eat up some serious CPU time.

I'm working to figure out what the hell happened this time, but I'm gonna have to leave for work pretty soon. Was anybody doing anything resource intensive last night/ this morning after I got off?

Ahh... should have probably mentioned that we already did... apparently it was causing the issues.

It looks like everything is running smoothly now, and the server is back up. I'd like to ask everyone to refrain from using the farm multiblocks if possible for now just in case, as they seem to be the cause of the issue. There SHOULD be a new recommended build being pushed out fairly soon, so hopefully this will be a very temporary issue.

I'm working right now to try and figure out what happened what the server, so I'll try to keep you guys updated as to what we know/ when it will be back up. If you see it pop up right now though, we're probably just testing and trying to figure out what's going on. Also, if anyone was doing/ noticed anything odd before it went down, let me know so that we can get a better idea of what happened.

Oh lawdy, here we go. I was hoping that you'd figure out what "I think I made the right decision" means, but this will be a LOT more fun . 1. I've reviewed all 3 or 4 additional applications you've sent me, begging won't get you in. 2. Messaging me EVERY day to reapply/ ask to be whitelisted/ ask me to "find it in my heart to forgive you" won't get you in either, and really is just going to make me laugh. 3. TELLING ME (trust me, you really didn't have to, it's kind of obvious) how desperate you are to get in isn't going to get you in. 4. Telling me you lied on your first application about being banned and then telling me no one else will accept you is NOT going to make me any more likely to let you in. 5. OHHHHHHHHHHH BOY, now I'm gonna be sued for breach of internet contract. I'm a busy guy IRL, sometimes it takes me a little longer than usual to reply to applications (although you actually DID get a timely reply, you just didn't seem to understand what the word "no" means). tl;dr - Get out.
