Tekkit 1.0.6: Constant End of Stream
Magister replied to TempestCraft's topic in Server Op Swap Shop
server log files would be helpful -
you have id conflicts, you will need to get into your configs and change things, even more since it would appear that if that dropbox is your current server setup you have added mods, and have created those conflicts, now i can tell you that at least one of them and possibly the others are from enderstorage. also from looking at your logs it is never a good idea to run a shell script as administrator to launch a minecraft server on linux

i have to disagree as i have a pack i am currently putting together on 1.5.2 that has ic2 working just fine, and in case you need it or want to look at it http://ic2api.player.to:8080/ will get you to the latest ic2

[HELP!] ID MISMATCH BETWEEN WORLD AND GAME, .:TEKKIT SPACE:.
Magister replied to Robirt's topic in Tekkit Discussion
some mods will store configs in the world folder and it is read and checked against the normal configs on load, that is what you screen is showing, your client has different ids than the world itself has in its configs -
if you are meaning the red X that show on blocks that is from nei and shows where mobs can spawn, if i remeber correctly f7 toggles that, if the above f9 didnt work

LOG FILES, if it closes on launch then how do you expect to get any kind of help without giving anything that might show what could be causing it, log files are needed and part of why they are generated, chances are it will say either what is causing it or at least give some kind of idea, find your log files. the press any key to continue is a normal thing when a batch script ends, stops or is killed in windows most of the time so that actually says nothing to what is going on.

how do you expect to get any help with out any logs being posted?

parachute goes into the chest piece for modular power armor using a tinkerer table, then it will deploy when holding shift while in the air. modular power armor has a gui that allows you to set different hotkeys as well. now sure what you mean but putting the helmet and how it has anything to do with parachutes

you could go ask mDiyo on the irc, natura is still a work in progress for most things, could always ask for other mod ore support EDIT: after speaking with a buddy of mine that follows the irc like a hawk apparently other mod support for ore bushes was looked at but would be alot of work, also the ore bushes come from tinkerers construct and the fruit bushes comes from natura. also for auto-farming golems from thaumcraft should be able to harvest

different plants have different grow rates in different biomes, ore berries follow mushroom growth so they require low light, and last i heard there was some kind of automation compabability being worked on

delete the %appdata%/roaming/.technic folder and have the launcher redownload it, if you dont have native folders or a .minecraft folder in roaming it is due to you not having a vanillia minecraft that you have run before, as that is the location it stores its information.

if you have any kind of firewall or router you need to forward ports to the ip you are running the server on and add exceptions to the firewall if any, when adding vpn into the mix you need to forward any ports that may be used by it as well
-
setting up a server with a vpn takes more work, google how to do minecraft and hamachi, you will need to forward ports still and set some things up on the server itself
-
that changes everything, on windows you will need to change the priority programs bind to the network addapters, or use forcebind in the script (can be a problem), you will also need to set the vpn metric to lower than your normal adaptor, if you are on linux you will need to manual adjust your ifconfig to change the metric settings, when you use vpn it tends to make things a little more complex

check your port forwarding and firewall settings

if the bats dont work or the tekkit.jar doesnt you may want to try redownloading and doing a fresh install, and check the bats and modify if needed, you should really launch using them. and generally an internal server error will give you more info on the server logs which could be helpful
-
sounds like you might have an issue with your configs, if it crashed the report would be helpful
-
different mods can cause different amounts of bandwidth usage, also the more thing updating around the player will also increase it, i know from running tekkit in the past it can cause a large amount of bandwidth at times
-
did you guys notice that the OP was from last year?
-
you can always make a folder in a different location on the hdd and use it a sync target, what ever OS you have will determine how it can be done
-
natura adds ore berries and food based berries as world gen, also adds various trees to the nether

tinker's construct is a fun mod, problem is that most players will simply favor their enchanted power tools rather than use it, so it becomes more of a forgotten thing on a server, at least in my experience.
-
WOL would require a NIC and router that supports that, much easier to just sechudle it in the windows schedular as a timed restart of the OS and then created a startup job for launching the server
-
not my local ip, my internal ip changed ^ the post is a contradiction since your local and internal can mean the same thing, and as an addition to looking up DHCP you might always want to look into static addressing

delete tekkit and do a fresh reinstall
