As for the permission, Legally no, you do not need to even inform them that you are using it. Morally, Its always a nice thing to do to at least link the mod site for them. If you are feeling very nice you might even ask for permission.

Denied. Wrong thing for what Number1Zombie loves to use. Read the rules. Denied for copying the "[]" in the whitelist app. Please read everything carefully. The issue was a missing config file. I have fixed that and everything should be running great.

Ya sorry. I wish I could get it to work as a mod I want in my modpack needs Player API. It is quite easy to do it to your own files but difficult (for me at least) to put it into a modpack.

I can have that made up quick. Give me 20 min. Edit: Battle Gear requires Player API which I have been unsuccessful in using despite a lot of trial and error. A mix is very broad. Also, I don't think yogbox is the same version as voltz and tekkit lite. So please list the specific mods you would like and I do not think it would be possible to use yogbox.

What address did you put in the "Add a new Pack" and what address did you put into the pack itself? Edit: the modpack.jar was messed up. That can sometimes be the only way. I went through about twenty FML's before I finally got it to work.

That's the drop box. It is not a modpack. Make a new modpack and use that as the modpack location.

To help others it is a good idea to keep your original posts and solutions intact so that when others have the same problem they can refer to this as apposed to making another thread where they have to hope someone can come along and help them.

I have to agree with commie on this. I have not asked a single modder (Sides Greenwolf and that was for S and G) for permition. They way I see it is that the packs are making their mods more popluar and well known which I think is what satisfys people the most. If I were a modder and people started to distribute my mod I would be thrilled no matter how it was done.

Are you having troubles jonjon? The way I build packs is one at a time and test after every one. It lets you know right away what mod is messing up. It is slow but its faster than just throwing them all in at once.

Do't thank me. I just pointed where you need to go. They told you exactly what you did wrong. Those are the things you want to improve on. Also, You might want to make your post a little less complain-y. The mods don't like that.
