bitbot17 Posted June 20, 2012 Share Posted June 20, 2012 ok so i downloaded this because its more interesting then the original minecraft. here is what i did i downloaded the software (no server) installed it then i started the program pressed singleplayer created own world (creative and survivel) couldnt get the techpak items do i need to download any mod activator or something to get those items please help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Open the launcher, in the top left corner there should be a box saying Vanilla.Clicking the box reveals a list containing buttons for Technic, Tekkit, Yogbox, Voxel Modpack, Hack Slash Mine and Vanilla. reimerguns Posted June 21, 2012 Share Posted June 21, 2012 Im having the same problem, except i cant join tekkit servers, i have the correct launcher settings and modpacks installed( i have 2 other computers running tekkit) but cannot use rays minimap nor veiw any non defualt items in the more items mod. The more items mod and optifine are the only two mods working. Torezu Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 I'm pretty sure your antivirus or firewall is keeping the launcher from actually downloading the mod files. Can you post an actual bug report, especially including the antivirus software you're using? Also, I'd make sure your firewall is off or at least isn't blocking the launcher. reimerguns Posted June 24, 2012 Share Posted June 24, 2012 I myself have the newest versions of java, both 64 and 32 knowing that some mods and game files have preferences, andand would have posted this in the bug report thread, however my account is unable to make any topics in that section( perhaps due to my account being newly made, nontheless, this whole bug may just be a result of instability in comparrision to tekkit 2 which ran very well on my i5 laptop and will simply wait for a fix, as the laptop is not needed to play at the moment Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
