SaDiabloWarlord Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 I want to know your suggestions for a few kits to make available for starting on a new world. Ideas can range from all quantum armor, to basic wood packs. I'm looking for some creative kits I haven't thought of. Plus, for any out there looking to make kits, this may serve as a thread to help knit some ideas for future kits. Please and Thank you. *Will be edited again soon with my own ideas for Kit packs. SaDiabloWarlord Posted June 21, 2012 Author Posted June 21, 2012 Depends on what you have enabled and disabled. As far as I know, I have not disabled anything from the basic technic/tekkit packs. Quote
Luckyarcade Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Well, a max EE themed pack I suppose. Swiftwolf ring, Max, fully charged klein star. Red matter tools. Mercurial eye, with another charged klein star. And maybe an alchemist bag filled with other alchemist bags for practically unlimited storage. And a philosopher stone of course. Is that the kind of suggestion you're looking for? Quote
Industrial Miner Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 Maybe something like Starting Inventory that was back in Technic 5.0.5? I'm not sure if that is still updated to 1.2.5. Quote
Torezu Posted June 21, 2012 Posted June 21, 2012 YogBox has it...otherwise, there are numerous plugins that will provide kits with a command if you have permissions. Quote
SaDiabloWarlord Posted June 22, 2012 Author Posted June 22, 2012 I already know how to modify my current mod files to create kits, what I'm suggesting here is just a compilation of kit names+items. Quote
Industrial Miner Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Kit name: Gardener Items: Wooden hoe, 16 seeds of each kind, a bucket of water, leather boots. Kit name:Iron man Items: Iron tools and armor. Kit name: Hawkeye Items: Two bows, four stacks of arrows and leather boots, legs and body. Kit name: Hulk Items: 2 of EACH potion that is available. Sorry, got my head in Avengers (not literrally). Quote
Svinnik Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Beginner Magic Kit: Basic EE stuff Master: All rings and advanced EE stuff Quote
NeonJ Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 I usually give myself a basic kit at the start of every world I make, just to stop the tedium of the startgame. - The Starter's Kit - (Number corresponds to inventory slot, using InventoryTweaks format) D1. Stone Sword D2. Stone Axe D3. Stone Pickaxe D4. Stone Shovel D5. 16 Torches D8. Familiars Book (If applicable) D9. CraftGuide (If applicable) A9. 16 Logs B9. 32 Planks C9. 64 Sticks This starter kit doesn't really break the game, it just makes the start of any game of Minecraft a lot less tedious. I even have it set to a TMI savestate. I don't even start with any ores or any of the Tekkit items, making the game last longer without being as tedious. Getting your starter wood with a stone axe is far more fun than a wooden one / fists. >_> Quote
Windoom Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Starter : - Stone Pickaxe - Stone Shovel - Stone Axe - Stone Sword - Stone Hoe - 32 bread - 32 Torches - 64 Logs Quote
