freakachu Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 umm I'm pretty sure you need diamond, even in technic. that is only taking into consideration the various pickaxes though, there's other stuff like mining drills, lasers, destruction catalysts, etc that can mine obsidian
OmegaJasam Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 You can also use the block breaker, and you can /craft/ obsidian with water and lava cells (allowing you to get it before diamonds)
