Does anyone know a good way of finding redstone? I keep running out when I'm making piston doors and spawner switches

If you have a miner tree those produce any ore but for me redstone is the most common also if you go to the twilight and in those hydra dens you can find a lot of redstone (Shhh I know I'm late)

​Don't diamond and iron big swords(not giant) do the same thing? Or am I confusing them with something else?

Yes, but they have a charge time, monking sword is instant.

​hahaha yeah same, always running out of redstone. Still, you can get a fair bit if you go mining with a fortune III pick

Lol I remember those mining adventures I do with my friends, I usually end up with two diamonds... But in hexxit it's like 2 stacks every trip. They're more common than iron D:

In hexxit it isn't the diamonds you're really searching for though, but rather things like ardite and so on for alloys. So it just has it's own balance.

pfftt ardite and cobalt are easyyyyy to find if you have scale armour, that way the nether isnt so scary anymore
