hexxit server not working

So I go and download the hexxit server file. I know what I'm doing I've done this before. So I set it up and run the server.

But it doesn't recognize the mods or something so it's basically running the server in vanilla

I saw a post about the same problem and the response was run the hexxit.jar instead of the minecraft_server.jar but when I run hexxit.jar it just crashes

I don't know what's wrong

It would be advisable to use the batch file which was provided with the server (launch.bat) to start the server.

You need to add the legacyjavafixer to the server mods. Java 1.8 doesn't run on 1.6.4 without it
