*SOLVED* Game Crashes Before Loading

A friend and I have been working for the past five hours or so trying to get a custom modpack to work, to no avail. First we had issues with the launcher recognizing the download link,then we had issues with it unzipping the files. Now we have issues with it crashing mid-load. After lots of Googling, scratching our heads and trial & error, the forums are our last hope for making this work.

Got it!

The issue was with a BuildCraft compat mod. No clue what was causing it as the errors weren't very descriptive, but the game finally(!) loads to the menu! I don't know how to delete a thread, so I'm just going to leave it with the solved tag until an admin or mod can take care of it.
