The Next Tekkit Horizon?

What do you guys think the next big update for Tekkit will be? Will this mod pack ever get pushed to an updated version of Minecraft? Will newer versions of the core mods he implemented?

I'd like to hear your thoughts.

Better off making your own, there are 1.7.10 versions of most things. You can add new mods and tweak it until it's just the way you want it.

I take it you don't read the news.

(Updated versions of Tekkit and Hexxit (as well as an official version of Blightfall) are supposed to come out this summer. Two of those packs are supposed to have come out already but are delayed due to art assets taking longer to produce than expected.)

"Supposed to" could mean a lot of things. I'm sure it'll be great when they are released, the technic team makes very professional and fun packs. However, for those who don't wish to wait, rolling your own is fun to learn and quite rewarding.

My post was more or less directed at Gomo (and partially The_Glaive). Making your own packs is always an option; that's what I've been doing for the past year or so.
