Omen964
So im doing a Geothermal energy plant in nether. i was figuring close to infinity energy right? Got around 2 stacks of Geothermal on a + grid with the power cord in the middle and lava pipes on the sides thy are 3 deep and should produce around 240 EU/t But i find it only produce around 60-80 EU/t The geothermal only for 50% or less what thy should produce. I give them area to store the energy and plenty lava in the pipes. Thy keep turning on and off (Blinking on and off) Why? ps: i use Gold pipes and glass fiber. Backplague
How did you measure their EU output?
Omen964
How did you measure their EU output? EU-Reader i do 10 readings and take the average of that
Backplague
The EU reader outputs a significantly low value since it is bugged, so i beleive the generators are producing EU just fine. The "blinking" is also normal, they automatically stop producing EU when the whatever machine you are storing the power in is full.
Omen964
okay got another question then. Why dose not the MFSU emit all its 512 EU/t to the mass fabricator when thy are fully charged?
Backplague
Because the mass fabricators are fully charged. I think you only misspelled it but the MFSU outputs 512 EU every tick and can store 10,000,000 EU.

ChrisPerson
I've also found something interesting about Geo-generators. It seems as though for each block (cable wise) away from an E/U consuming device (even an MFSU), they loose one E/U. This is not E/U loss from cables, I checked it directly from my generators. Best thing you can do is have the cable leading to whatever device be coming from the middle of your geo-generator array.
