agelian Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 you cant use 3g or 2g on a 32-bit system for Java. try 1536m instead
Valkon Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Why did you center the text? lol For posterity
kyneff Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 For posterity I feel like I'm reading a poem when it's centered. lol
ontbijtkoe Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I Don't know if you still need help with this but I think I see what you did wrong. Instead renaming your .jar file to tekkit>java -Xmx3G -Xms2G -jar Tekkit.jar Do this: Make a textfile and put the following text in it @ECHO OFF "C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx2048M -Xms2048M -jar "C:\Users\admin\Desktop\tekkit.jar" save the file as a .bat file Change the paths to match the ones on your computer
Mastergalen Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 IF you don't want to worry about all the configuration stuff, you should use a dedicated host instead. I currently use Beastnode and have a 42 slot Tekkit server running without any problem, and their rates are affordable as well.
