Probably good news on trains and zeppelin mod

The trains and zeppelin mod is apperantly being converted to bukkit and is avalible for SMP and SSP use in tekkit and technic packs.

Why do we want it?

This mod adds a new and fast form of rail tranisit that railcraft can only partly fulfill, trains are controllable and most importantly look like trains, not roller coasters or mine railways.

The mod is compatable with current mods and works well with industral craft if not improving it so that you can have something that looks truly industrial on your server or single player.

Trains are powered by five (counting water) differnet fuels and electric trains can be powered by overhead wires (using industrail craft 2).

This adds more hours of gameplay and something that the admins of servers could pay players in ingame money to build.

This subforum, plus that link you put is a request for for a mod to be made, not put into the pack.

However, this is still shaping up to the standards of the rest of the mods in the pack, especially with new compatibilities with IC2 (finally get a use for that canning machine, plus power lines)

I have only a minor quirk with the petrol and diesel sands, but hey, that's more factories for me to build

Perhaps we could finally see this mod in the pack?

It's worth a try, it's uploaded to forge and is compatable with the mods, we still run 1.2.5 so it would be easy to port accross to the pack,

I wish there were a way to create wide-turning tracks.

there would be complications of such a thing, mainly curves on a square world, but if someone managed to pull it off, it would be amazing.

Think of something such as a track that needs to have a 1st and 2nd part laid down, and then the in-between part is generated in the form of an entity, perhaps? It would have to span several blocks, so it can't be a block.

Okay, I most definitely think this mod has it's place in the Technic pack. I'm installing it in my custom mod pack as soon as I get my PC back.

Iv got this installed into my tekkit install and on my server. Nei in smp presents a problem since it says something like unable to find item. I can post a screen shot if needed.
