Southclaw Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I was going to post this in Bug Reports but I thought I'd better ask first! I just updated Tekkit and went to my Biofuel Generator (that runs on cacti) and saw an Auto crafting table wasn't outputting... Tried some cacti in a regular crafting table and still no Plantballs D: Is this a bug with this version or is there an extra step needed now to make plantballs from cacti? Or is it removed all together if so why?
milcondoin Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 IC 1.70b Plantballs can be made from: Seeds, wheat, reeds (a.k.a. sugar cane), leaves (vanilla leaves only), saplings (vanilla saplings only). Saplings give 2 plantballs per recipe.

Saplings give 2 plantballs per recipe. Continuing from this, you can still automate plantball production. Get your saplings from an arboretum and a Logger. Pipe the saplings out, into automatic crafting table. After that find a way to get the arboretum a constant supply of humus, and keep some saplings in it (distribution pipes?). I haven't tried this myself though.
Earthrider Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Hey, quick question. Is there any way to get biofuel without losing the tin from the fuel cells. I tried getting a biofuel setup going but once I realized it was going to lose me a lot of tin I had to stop short. Thanks,
MechaCrash Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Use wooden waterproof pipes to pump it into regular Buildcraft tanks. It behaves like any other liquid.

Saplings give 2 plantballs per recipe. So my cactus farm is now an obsolete waste of time? That sucks. I guess I'll have to make another power source. That BioFuel straight out the pipe is interesting... Where abouts do I pump out bio fuel in pipes then? :p
