futurebird Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 I don't think it's redwheat... I have Ferru in abundance and breeding stronger strains is slow but working... but how do I get red wheat? I've made a darkish room and planted my best strains of wheat there... but no luck yet... also must the cropmatron be on the same level as the plants? or could I put it in the floor? thanks! Quote
gavjenks Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Build a cropanalyzer and put the seeds in it. It will tell you what the plant is and its information. Quote
The Merchant of Menace Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Rightclick on it and see what pops off. Probably coffee or cocoa. Quote
Hunt of Doom Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Redwheat is grown in light levels 10, past that it's luck. EDIT: Oh and the crop matrons work 1 block up and down. So it can be in the floor if you want Quote
The Tech Whiz Number One Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 How did you get terra warts Quote
Hunt of Doom Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 How did you get terra warts Crossbreed netherwart Quote

The Merchant of Menace Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 So what did the plant turn out to be? I'm really curious now. Quote
futurebird Posted August 21, 2012 Author Posted August 21, 2012 coffee! and check this out! Redwheat at long last! all I need id the gold producing plant... aurelia? ir whatever it's called. The red wheat appeared in a bright room, but seeds will only plant in low light. And it produces a redstone signal when connected to some redstone on an adjacent block! amazing! Build a cropanalyzer and put the seeds in it. It will tell you what the plant is and its information. there's a cropalizer in my original screenshot ^0^ I was hoping to find out if it was fully grown so I didn't break it too early. Quote
tekkitcropsresearcher Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 yes that is fully grown but you should try to cross breed the red wheat instead of breaking it. Quote
tekkitcropsresearcher Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 futurebird also you can break coffee a step earlier. Quote
