Do you have a network connection at the time?

I haven't checked in a while, but I know at one point one of the curl calls in the script would fail if you were offline and it couldn't grab the latest launcher version.

I don't think there's many of us who are terribly familiar with the Mac launcher. First, questions: Have you run a system update recently? Have you tried trashing the launcher app and re-downloading it? And if the answers to both are yes, try trashing the Library/Application Support/techniclauncher folder (but move your saves out first!).

I'm VERY familiar with it, run AppleScript failed either means you don't have java or you don't have Internet.

I also had this problem. It works on my user account but not my sons, where this error pops up. I installed another version of this in ~/Applications (in his user folder) and it works fine. So if you have multiple users on your computer and it works for one and not another, try that.

Just out of curiosity, do you have a space in your windows user name?
