Darkspore?

You may know about the game that was made about a year ago called Darkspore. It was made by EA and Maxis as a spin-off of their once popular game Spore, but it is a Hack and Slash genre game.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone one here ever played it and what you thought about it. Thank you for your time. :)

Never heard about Darkspore, but I bought and played Spore on the release, it was a very underrated game in my opinion. Gonna check out this darkspore.

Theres a free demo, if you want to try it yourself. you can get it on steam.

I thought the game was pretty bad. Not unplayable, just not compelling enough to pay for.

I picked darkspore up on sale from steam a while ago. as long as my internet isn't disconnecting me randomly, I actually enjoy it. at the very least, it's a better ARPG than D3 ().

a couple things to know, though:

-it has an always on internet requirement. you can't play this game in any kind of offline mode. I have no idea why not but there it is.

-it can be a bit grindtastic

-just about every part you find looks hilarious when you put it on a character's crotch. just saying.

overall I think it's a pretty decent game. even better if you have someone to play it with.
