efflandt
IC2 wiki says "As of 1.70, CF can cover & harden around a placed cable, creating a block that functions as a cable but looks like a CF wall. When a "CF-cable" block is destroyed, it drops the cable it was created with." The question is how do I engulf a cable with the foam so the cable does not show? The construction foam block ends up above, below, or to the side of IC2 cable blocks. I also tried making a foam block and then sticking the cable into it while still soft, but that did not work either. I am playing current tekkit version (3.1.2) SMP. Not sure what other mods the server has. /res, /warp, and dynmap (web map of players) all work, regular wooden chests can be locked with a sign (Deadbolt?), /rtp does not work. efflandt
OK a sprayer works for filling around cable. Now if IC2 would just fix their lights. Wall or ceiling lamps cannot be wired (battery only, for 1 night). Any lamp connected to any cable, in any position, ends up as a floor panel lamp, even if the cable is surrounded with foam and hardened first. Lamps other than floor panels only appear as wall or ceiling lights if placed on non-cable solid blocks.
