Figured out the trap in sp, but when i do it in smp and measure the 2 lv solar arrays with an eu reader during the day it shows no eu production

The EU will only travel through the cable if it has somewhere to go. If there are no machines which need powering and all storage units connected to the cable are full, the electricity will not enter the wire at all and the EU-Reader will not read anything.
