Tekkit Framerate down to less than 1

Description of Problem:

Tekkit has become very unresponsive in multiplayer, I decided to reinstall yesterday (before these problems) and I installed Minecraft fine. The .exe TechnicLauncher download does not work, so I ran the .jar one with Java.

It installed Tekkit fine. When I tried to run it last night, it would play smoothly for about 2 minutes before crashing (no message, it would just stop responding.) So I reinstalled Java, and played a few minutes before crashing again.

I tried it again this evening and it is extremely choppy, although it works fine in singleplayer.

Update: Turns out the framerate lag is unrelated and caused by my graphics settings too high. So I turned then down, and played for about 5 minutes. Tekkkit then stopped responding for a few seconds, then when it came back, the framerate was really low again. This happened when I clicked on a recipe.

Update: Reinstalled Java and Minecraft/Technic again. Seems a lot of people have my problem, I can play fine for about 10 minutes, then it becomes so laggy I have to close it with the task manager.

I looked at the logs after it happened again, and there was a warning about Matmos, saying it might cause problems. Unfournunaltely I didn't make a note of this. I deleted Matmos and tried again, it didn't solve the problem. Now the logs say

Fuck you, I've been trying to fix this problem for days, I have reinstalled and updated windows, I've done the same with Technic, Minecraft and Java. I have scoured these forums for any solutions, not only has no one answered any of my threads/posts with anything useful, no one seems to answer anyone elses threads with anything useful.

I am paying for a multiplayer Tekkit server which I currently cannot use. There is no help and no support here. I know the mod is free, but I wish it was payed so I might get some support, have you any idea how frustrating it is to get NO HELP WHATSOEVER for a problem that I am not the only one having.

All I want is for ONE person to suggest something useful or at least TRY to help. And all I get is this.

And Ash, I did post in the Tekkit forums. NO FUCKING REPLY. So it seems the only replies I get are amartarse comments or some prick telling me to post somewhere else.

Well, after spending a weekend trying to fix this, I am just going to have to give up and stop playing Tekkit. I know no one gives a shit so I don't even know why I'm typing it here.

After 3 days of trying to solve my problem I have found 1 possible solution I haven't tried (to remove Optifine), which I haven't tried, because no one will tell me how, as Optifine is definitely not the cause (according to them). Hardly anyone answers help requests, unless to flame in some way.

The reason I reacted strongly in this thread, is because I had spent my weekend trying everything I could find to fix this problem, and this guy tells me the reason I didn't get help is because I haven't proven I have done some work. In other words, useless post (against the rules) and its only purpose was to annoy me.

You spent three days posting in all the wrong places. That is a personal problem, and not something you have any right to get angry at other people about.

Did you miss the part where you were in clearly the wrong location? Why are you surprised that noone there was helping you? Your thread was useless, because you were posting in the launcher bug board for a bug that had nothing to do with the launcher.

That's my hypothesis, based on current observation. It still needs a little more supporting evidence to be accredited as a scientific theory, but i've devised some tests that may yield results.

Don't you understand how upsetting it is to ask for help and just have all the "locals" gang up on you. I'm sorry for getting angry at Jorcer, but I'm trying to fix a problem and I'm constantly distracted by people trying to start arguments with me. I find it difficult to control my anger when someone baits me and I'm sorry for that.

I really enjoyed Tekkit for a while and it helped me keep my mind off IRL issues for a while. I'm the kind of person that needs these things, and when I lose them, I panic. Which is what I have been doing for the past 3 days, hence me being to stressed out.

I think it has got to the point where I must accept the fact that you guys won't help because you don't like me and I don't blame you, so I will stop trying to fix it and hopefully find another game.

One question, do you guys care at all if new players can't use the mods or do you just hate me?

Problem is- I'm pretty obsessive about these things so I find it difficult just to forget about it. First time I've had to stop playing a game for technical reasons :(
