The launcher is running in 32 bit mode, not 64. Cannot use more than 1.5gb of RAM, Tekkit will often slow to less than 10 FPS.

Uninstall 32 bit Java. Then install 64 bit. Was that so hard?

EDIT: Fix'd. reinstalled java 3 times, and finally tried the offline installer. Seems to work better for some reason. Strange.

The downgrading solution works for some people, and is a temporary fix. Rather than trying to find a real solution, most players prefer the temporary fix it yesterday solutions.
