We want to rent a server for tekkit

Hi all, there are approx 10 of us who want to rent a Tekkit ran server, we have recently rented a server but their tech support can't get our old world to run on their server, their server was running craft bukkit. we have uploaded our world files and even uploaded tekkit server to their tech support, but their server will not run our world, even though we are still playing it on our old server, We are looking for a a well run tekkit server and tech- support that have the know how to install our old world, does anyone have any suggestions?

I would ask around the server op swap shop, as they would be the ones with the first hand knowledge.

quiet you, when you google "server hosting," you get about a billion website hosts, half a billion VPS hosts, and a quarter of a billion shitty MC package hosts that give you little control over your own server. no comment on the post sign, that you were right to point out, but he technically is posting in the right area, just there are BETTER areas to post in.

To the OP:

you should also learn some linux terminal commands and how to ssh, that will save your life if you go for a smaller hosting plan, if you get server linux, that will halve the price.
