Xanice Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 How do you make a quarry's frame bigger? I can't seem to figure it out.
Niavmai Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Use Landmarks. You need a minimum of 3 landmarks to setup the size, but you can use a 4th to set the initial height. Place them in an L shape, and right click on the middle one, and it should put up some red beams, signifying that it's ready, and then you just place the quarry next to any one of the landmarks.
Kmartinator Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Each of the landmarks also needs to be powered by a redstone signal (lever, redstone torch, etc.). They do seem to be buggy on occasion, but once you have them lined up, right-clicking should give red lines, like Niavmai mentioned. When you place the quarry, I believe you have to place it next to a landmark (on the outside of the box). If it works successfully, the yellow and black frame will appear in the area that was previously red, and your landmarks will pop off the ground (don't forget to go pick them back up!)
milcondoin Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Each of the landmarks also needs to be powered by a redstone signal (lever, redstone torch, etc.). Only if you want the blue targeting lasers for easier aligning.
dragonshardz Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Said blue targeting lasers are also very useful for making sure your lines are straight when building.
