So, here's the thing: I can run an unofficial mod pack just fine in survival mode, but if I try to run Tekkit in the same context, it tells me the level's become corrupted. Anyone able to help? Note: I run a 32-bit OS and with Java 1.7, so if I can fix it, let me know.

32bit OS means 32bit Java, which limits you to 1GB of RAM for the launcher. You'll only be able to play small, lightweight modpacks.

So, will any of the official modpacks run well then, or am I limited to the fan content?

If your level has become corrupted, we would atleast like to see a log (your launcher's log, upload it to www.pastebin.com and provide the link here) so we can see why its corrupt.
