Valkorn
Hello folks, I have recently started using Tekkit and I am really enjoying it, but as I was watching duncan's tekkit video's get to know the things a little I noticed something. He is able to use electric engine's and I am not. Is this because he's using an older version or something? I'm kinda confused so I would like an answer to this, thank you =)
freakachu
Yes, it is an older version. Newer versions do not have forestry, which is where electric engines come from
Hushful
There is some mod addon that is present in technic, I'm not sure about tekkit, that readded electric engines. There is a slow, fast, and adjustable electric engine.

Omicron
It's easy to install though. Just download the zip from here: http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5789 ...and drop it into your /mods/ directory. Note: you need v1.3 for use with Tekkit. And if you mod a Tekkit server, all players must manually install the client mod or they won't be able to connect.
