danthehuen
Hey folks. I apologize if this is a common question. I've been browsing for people with similar problems. I've been playing Tekkit Legends on an iMac (at my business, I'm all PC at home). The problem: The game seems to crash in the same places on the server. I know there are spots where I simply cannot go or the game goes all blue and then exits without generating an error message, it just takes me back to the launcher screen. Fellow players are not experiencing this, but I am, and on both my mac and PCs. I've attached an error log and my iMac specs. I play on the iMac mostly. There are many more error logs. Some days it takes 5-6 crashes to get out of a trouble spot. Those logs are over the 1/2 gb attachment limit. techniclauncher_2016-04-07.log

Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 7, 2016 Discord Moderator Share Posted April 7, 2016 Also, don't post the Launcher log. Please provide the most recent crash report from /crash-reports/ as well as the most recent /logs/fml-client-latest.log.
danthehuen
Hey folks. Sorry about the hiccups. I found the /crash-reports/ folder. There is one from today, but there are about 6 from yesterday and 7 from Tuesday. Today: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15679330/ Yesterday 1: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15679339/ Yesterday 2: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15679346/ Yesterday 3: http://paste.ubuntu.com/15679353/ From /logs/fml-clients-latest.log http://paste.ubuntu.com/15679378/ I imagine all the ones from yesterday and Tuesday are similar, if not the same. Thanks for the responses thus far.
Discord Moderator plowmanplow Posted April 7, 2016 Discord Moderator Share Posted April 7, 2016 For starters, you are allocating way too much RAM to the Launcher. Never allocate more than 4G or half your physical RAM, whichever is smaller. Unless you are using a large HD texture pack, using 3G as the max would be better. The crash reports are all for the same error, but for different block locations. Have there been any changes made to the server configs? Some mods get wonky when the server and client configs differ. Does this only happen for you and other players are able to move through these locations without problems, or is it just you having this issue? danthehuen
Thanks for the help. I forwarded your points to our mod. He is looking at it. After a bit of discussion, I discovered the mod is the only one not experiencing bad chunks, or, 'areas'. There are other players who just know to avoid certain areas, much like I do. Any thoughts? Is the server messed up?
JaariAtmc
For reference, recently had a case with someone that had this issue as well. Mind that this modpack is 1.6.4, but this would atleast allow you to check if something appears to be the same.
