Firstly, Most tekkit server owners avoid NoLagg like the plauge. It's prone to causing more issues than it solves, and if you have a half decent connection, it's not really needed.

Secondly, If you absolutely must get it, you want version 1.86 which is the version compatible with MC 1.2.5

Ah I see well I have a 30/30 mbit connection and should have 16gb of ram dedicated to the server. I feel like I find a new plugin to put on the server every day lol

im ashamed to say i used that plugin for a few months on my server untill i realised what DJin said, its only use is the Drop Managing other than that it is useless, And a way around this is to use stoplag then stoplag -c which i believe comes with Essentials or worldguard,

Also Grazi, Plugins dont generaly do that unless there badly coded e.g Tekkit Restrict

If you're looking for the item stacking feature of NoLagg, which most people regard as it's only useful feature, just use CB++ as it contains that feature plus a few other lag fixyfixies, I hear the 75 build works pretty good for tekkit.

Actually... I found out today (thanks mrkekson) that Spigot which started as a fork for CB++ is actually better.

http://www.spigotmc.org/threads/read-first-about-spigot.3/

Where would the files for Spigot be? I can't seem to find some sort of archive with versions. I've been using CB++ 75 so far, and tbh, I can't complain but you make a fair point.

Anywayz, where can I download Spigot for Tekkit Server 3.1.2?

Never mind, I'm retarded.

Oh, and also, I don't want to reinstall the whole server again, how bad of an idea is it to just replace the current CB++ file with the Spigot file?

---

I just replaced CB++ 75 with Spigot simply by deleting the CB++ file and replacing it with Spigot and it worked like a charm, for now.

lol.... well this has got to be one of the biggest cases of "answered my own question" i've seen in a while.

lol so true but helpful at the same time im thinking about putting it on my server i am just running normal tekkit right now hope-in to get 60 slots on my server wondering how much this will help over normal tekkit server.

tekkit restrict is not a bad plugin, its pretty new, so it has bugs, but the coder fella working on it, and there are nice improvements, use 0.96 or 1.09 both working for me without any problem, no lag, no insane cpu usage, and it's a must if you have ee, since every damned item in ee is bugged somehow ( dupes, not proper bukkit block break, crashing srv etc. EE is the worst coded mod ever, hope its improved in ee3, i love the tools in it tho ), also the tpic command can tp you to places where are a number of items lying around, so you can fid lagfactoryes easely ( previously i had to monitor logins to see who created the lagfactory, and then wonder around to find it, you can imagine if its underground with near 0 fps, 10000k item was the max i've encountered )

also try craftbukkit++ or mcpc spigot, both work like nolagg, but doing it mutch better

Wait, wait! So if I have Spigot installed, basically ClearLagg is useless? What I mean is does Spigot include the various functions of ClearLagg/NoLagg?

...where the heck can I find a damn list of what Spigot does!
