hoho Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Most new phones can play drag-'n'-droppes musicThis. If you have a cell phone not older than some 5-ish years you already have a good music player. Bonus is you don't even need to get another pocket to fit it in. Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 OP: I got this with RockBox if you're a minimalist and just want music, this is the tits. edit: comes with 8GB. micro sd can expand it to 16. and it's drag and drop Quote
EzioA Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 I am considering myself to get a dedicated MP3 player, but Winamp's wifi sync just sounds so attractive.. (I have a HTC One X btw) Quote
Teraku Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 An Android device, or a basic MP3 player or a cheap Samsung Galaxy or something. Apple stuff is horribly overpriced. If you just want to play music, then go for the Sandisk Sansa Clip+. You can insert Micro SD cards into it, and the thing will play almost any format, even FLAC and APE. Only problem is that you have to use Winamp or foobar2000 to create playlists, unless your music files are properly tagged by Artist, Album or whatever. Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Only problem is that you have to use Winamp or foobar2000 to create playlists, unless your music files are properly tagged by Artist, Album or whatever. actually, with rockbox, it recognizes most playlist formats. Quote
Teraku Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 actually, with rockbox, it recognizes most playlist formats. I actually meant that you have to make playlists, not necessarily with specific programs. Quote
ErusPrime Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 the rockbox firmware can handle that as well if you use it's database function. Quote
