Tekkit Classic wont open

I have just downloaded tekkit classic and it will not launch the game at all, it just reopens the launcher.

I also have java (offline 64x bit) for my system which is 64 bit.

Please download this file, then RightClick->Run as Administrator. This should clear Java Settings that are being stored in your OS, which interfere with Technic.
