lmaoitsmeyaboi Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 Alright, there is a serious problem. I've been casting around for ways to play RLCraft (I don't want to use Twitch) and finally stumbled upon Technic. I installed Shivaxi RlCraft, and clicked play. At first it did nothing out of the ordinary, but then, before even loading the startup screen, it simply crashed back onto the launcher with nothing! No crash reports, no anything. I'd really like to play RlCraft, (Dragons, gasp!) so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!
JaariAtmc Posted October 24, 2019 Posted October 24, 2019 There's a Open Logs button under Launcher Options. Use the relevant day's log. Upload it to pastebin.com or paste.ubuntu.com (if too large for pastebin). Share the link here. lmaoitsmeyaboi 1
lmaoitsmeyaboi Posted October 24, 2019 Author Posted October 24, 2019 (edited) Thank you! Will do! Okay, I've done it. Just so you know though, I installed RlCraft and uninstalled it multiple times today, not to mention all the times I tried to play it, so I don't know which parts of code go to which instance. (All of that code stuff is mumbo jumbo to me, so I have absolutely no idea what I'm talking about) here's the link! https://pastebin.com/0urmHVAg Edited October 24, 2019 by lmaoitsmeyaboi

Your graphics drivers are outdated (Intel HD graphics), and this is due to you likely having upgraded this computer from an older windows version to Windows 10. 2. If updating graphics drivers doesn't work, you'll have to downgrade your java to 8u51/8u25, as that's the last update that worked in this case. 3. You'll need to use java 64bits. The link in point 2 already provides a 64bits option. Currently you are allocating 512 MB, which is nowhere near enough RAM to use modded 1.12.2. lmaoitsmeyaboi 1

A few questions: I installed the updated version of Intel, but did it switch drivers itself, or do I have to do it manually? If so, how? Also, after installing 64bit Java, I don't know how to allocate more RAM. Thanks for all your help.
lmaoitsmeyaboi Posted October 25, 2019 Author Posted October 25, 2019 JaaruAtmc, I actually take my previous question back. Whatever you did fixed it! Thank you so so much! Now I can play RLCraft to my heart's content. THANK YOU!

nolanjw Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 Hi JaariAtmc, I don't mean to keep bugging you, but I am having similar problems as well if you could help me out. The file was too large to put in pastebin all at once, so ive separated it into a few different files, all in consecutive order. thank you! https://pastebin.com/5VMm1ubN https://pastebin.com/QaBktik4 https://pastebin.com/dkhruYQS https://pastebin.com/YeCTWXRe

Then it was killed. Did you close it, and why?

So the icon will come up in my taskbar, but the page never actually comes up where i can see it. If i hover my mouse over the icon, it just shows a white page, and if i click it then nothing happens. If i right click the icon then the only option im given is to close the window. Also, i just sent over the log from one attempt, but I've tried this several times and waited quite a long time for anything to happen but still nothing

It's quite normal for 1.12.2 modpacks to take well over 3 minutes to start.

amvandreel Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 I have been trying to launch Shivaxi RlCraft for about a half an hour now, and nothing is happening. I have already downloaded Java 64-bit and allocated 3.5 GB. I'm not sure what else to try.
